Summary: Tar-Míriel, the last Queen of Númenor, reflects on her life as the ships of Númenor sail to the West. Brief reference to implied non-con sex, but nothing explicit.
Note: The quotation that ends this story has always been one of my favorite images in Tolkien's work, and I have wondered how Tar-Míriel saw herself. This story is an attempt to discover that.
