Note: Foradafrog, who wanted Thranduil and another elf, waterfall in Mirkwood, which is healing. We really know nothing about Thranduil's family except that Legolas is his son; I am assuming here that his (nameless) wife was killed sometime during the late Second Age or early Third Age, long before the events of The Hobbit.
