Lawyers can't seem to make up their minds. First I am here, innocent and delusional. Then back to prison where I must live out the rest of my criminal years. Ah, but no! For not only am I innocent, but still insane. So here I am again, one trial and a short stint behind bars later.

Melancholy Meg, my dear. How are you?

You went to prison?

Why were you in prison?

Was it terrible there?

Fret not! It was but a small miscommunication. And it is not so pleasant as this institution, yet neither was it entirely horrible. Food, cable, exercise. Even prison is better than the wrong sort of lifestyle.. not that I experienced that myself.

How are you, oh studious student?

Good to see you back. It's more pleasant here than in prison, yes?

Certainly! I found that the company of prison was considerably less pleasant. Tell me, my dear doctor, when it is that we might have a conversation not conveyed by scraps of paper. It seems only right that we should be getting around to a direct dialogue at some point.

It does, doesn't it? Any time that is conducive to you is good for me, except Sunday afternoon.

I do believe Friday would be ideal, then. 'Twould give us something most exciting to look forward to.

Then Friday it shall be. We can reminisce over times that never happened and plan for futures that never can be.

Delightful!

Placed on top of his pillow. Hastily written and sloppy.

You! You've no idea -

Do you know what even -

Why did you leave me?

Return note slid under her door

I didn't leave you, my dear girl. A short return to prison. Were I leaving, I do believe I would be so fitted with the common courtesy as to write of such.

Come to my room this afternoon and I will do anything it is that you ask of me, precious Meg, to make it up to you. You do know how I hate to be in ill will.

Return note. - Scene it out or summary?

Fine. Fine. I like to think we're better friend then that, more then just friends who can come and go.

Count on it, dearest Christopher.

Return note - Scene or spam -- you start either way, hahaha

Indeed, we are.

I look forward to it.
