Dear patients of Cheshire Crossing,
It has come to my attention that this hospital was lacking a suitable exercise area. Through my own research of proper psychiatric care, I have learned that exercise is a terrific way to release pent up energy, and a healthy coping skill. I spoke to Dr. Madrona about perhaps setting up a work-out area available for the patients use, and she fully supported it.
Thus, my darling husband and myself scraped up some money and restored the building out on the west side of the hospital to be used as a gymnasium. My Roger also donated all his exercise equipment for the new gym.
If any patients are interested in using the gym, don't hesitate to ask me or your doctor. Permission from your doctor to use the equipment is required, and no one is allowed into the gymnasium without an orderly, or nurse escort. I am more then willing to take you over as long as it is between 1pm and 3pm.
