	There are, and I was in one for a while. But while heavily drugged I told them how I got hit by a car. That I had misjudged a transdimensional rift, and wasn't expecting there to be cars when I stepped into the road. So they sent me here once I had healed. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

There are many universes, one for each diverging timeline. The Doctor taught me how to recognize moments when the universes are so close that if you are in the exact right place at the exact right moment, you can step between them. That time and place is a transdimensional rift. Every time you hear of someone who seems to have vanished into thin air? Very often they were just unintentionally caught in a rift. They may not even notice they're not in their proper universe.
