They expect me to introduce myself...as though I really need an introduction. I'm sure that the news of my admission into this particular asylum is already wide spread. Nothing stays a secret for long.

However, for those of you who do not know, my name is Paviche Largo…Pavi for short.

My name probably sounds familiar, now. Or it should, if you haven’t been living under a rock.

Welcome, anyway.

Several English men, and English women have heard of the Pavi before. It makes me wonder what part of England you are from...

Thank you very much, Rose.

London.

Guess I was paying attention to other things.

I've been to London before. There are many beautiful women, there.

Other things? They must have been very important.

[Written on a a nice, clean piece of white paper tacked right in the center of the board. The paper looks very official, with a letter head reading: 'From the Desk of Emma G. Frost']

Paviche Largo, I should have known I would be seeing your face here, sooner or later. And to think, I actually used to defend your name within the throngs of the social elite.

A pity, truly is.

How is dear Rotti holding up after such devastating news of his youngest darling boy falling into such trouble? Don't fret, love, our kind seem to be growing day by day here at Cheshire.

Ah, Emma Frost. It has been such a long time.

What do you mean you used to? Now, now...your views of me surely haven't changed, have they? You know how cruel and inaccurate the media can be, sweetheart.

My father is doing quite well, I suppose. Disappointed, of course, but still just as loving and supportive as ever.

Well, darling, you know how cruel the media can be, once they get wind that I support the Largo family, have even gone as far as using your father's company to my own benefit? Well, my dear, imagine the horrid things USAToday, and US Weekly will say about me. Dreadful, horrible, awful things about me and my company.

Perhaps you have overestimated your notoriety. It appears I am not alone in not knowing who you are.

Of course, I, too, am new to this particular planet; so it seems a bit strange to be welcoming anyone...

In any case, welcome to Cheshire. I hope you have more luck with people recognizing you in the future.

Sincerely,
Arthur P. Dent
