Writn on three-fourths of a page of torn, white notebook paper
Greetings inhabitants of the planet Cheshire,

My name is Arthur Dent, and I am from a planet called Earth. You may not have heard of it, but there is a very nice entry on it in the Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy if you are interested.

I hope you all are doing well here.

And if anyone knows where to get a substance called tea, I would be very interested. You may not call it tea, actually. It's little brown or green dried leaves that one soaks in hot water to make a beverage. If you need more information, please come and talk to me. You see, I haven't had good tea in quite some time, and all this space travel has left me rather dehydrated.

Anyway, it's nice to meet you all.

Sincerely,

Arthur P. Dent

I have. I got my medical degree there, actually. It's smart, being polite to people from other planets. It'll get you places...

Ah, that does sound like something they would do. The cooks are kind and well meaning, but they wouldn't know a good cup of tea if it bit them in the arse. Curious behaviour for a cup of tea, I know. I should hope I could appreciate a good cup of tea while my arse remained unbitten, but I suppose only time will tell.

I'm a psychologist and an MD. A bit of a change after med school, I'm afraid. We can certainly talk about that when you come, or whatever you want, really. I'm not very picky about conversation.

Indeed, well met. I'll hopefully be seeing you quite soon.
