Oh hello!

I am Kei, some of you know me, some of you just met me in chat. I'm bringing Ophelia's big half-brother Zachary Smith to the yard! He doesn't answer to that though. He prefers East. Smith if he's in a good mood. Dorian can get away with more, as can Ophelia, because for some reason he actually likes Dorian.

Me, I live in New Zealand, I cross-stitch and multi-task obsessively and require drugs to function, much like House but without the limp or the dubiously charming hatefulness. Or, you know, the medical genius. I do write though, when I can.

My OOC journal is [info]keieeeye, my AIM is keieeeye and my email is, who can guess, keieeeye@gmail.com or @insanejournal.com. Shocking. I know.

NO FUCKING WAY!!!!

St Martins, near Opawa/Beckenham/Linwood, down by the hills. Stupid suburbs, there's almost nothing within walking distance. D:

I'm in Shirley for like another five days, then I'm moving to Burwood - practically on top of Horseshoe Lake!!! Are you Telecom or Vodafone, we should TOTALLY meet up for coffee!!!!

I'm so happy, it's nice to meet a Kiwi on here!

*shags*

I feel that I ought to apologise profusely to Ophelia for having her brother decide to be best friends with Dorian instead of picking on him to defend her honour. But she's fictional. So that's okay. :D

Hi Kei! I'm Claire and I have Rue Entwhistle, 6th year Ravenclaw, and it'd be great if they were friends! Rue's very laid back but has a sense of humor, and he gets along with a lot of different kinds of people!

Let me just say, I'm only a little bit in love with Dougie >D

They are both Keepers! :o I can't remember if that's in East's actual bio actually, oops, I should check that. But yes. He likes to study people and know what's going on so I think he'd tend towards more friends than less.

Gaspeth, indeed they are! Snort, that could be slightly problematic.

Well that's good! Rue can be quiet sometimes, though, he only comes out of his shell around certain people.... i.e., Colin and Gertie. :D

Better than most other positions - they don't actually go up against each other at all, just hang out at the ends of the pitch. :P

*pats him* East is quite capable of being toned down. I think he might have a face for every occasion, actually, the filthy Slytherin. D:

That's true. I'm sure Rue spends half of his time just daydreaming and then he realizes that there's a ball coming towards him. :3

He could be the spawn of Satan and I wouldn't mind, lawl.

Sounds like when I used to play soccer. Very low scoring game. And very boring for the goalie if the rest of the team's good.

No, not Satan, just Zacharias Smith. :D

I only played coz I didn't want to play any of the girly sports lol. I think they opened croquet up after a while, that was slightly random.

Close enough for all intents and purposes. *nods solemnly*

snort, croquet? that is quite random. amusing, but random. Yeah, I'm also on my school's crew team, although i like soccer more.

Indeed, it shall have to suffice.

I went from soccer to gymnastics (three years of artistic, three of rhythmic) before I tore a leg muscle and couldn't compete anymore. Which is sort of equally random. Netball was too girly for me, but gymnastics was A-OK. ???

Oh, that sucks. I hate injuries, it fails so bad. Dude, what's Netball? I've heard of it but at the moment I'm far too lazy to actually go wiki it or something :D

DUDE. Americans are WEIRD. It's sort of like basketball, but there are differences, like you can't move when you have the ball I think. Played by girls vastly more often than boys.

YEAH WELL, ikno. It kind of sounds like handball, which we have over here but there aren't any recreational leagues. It's like soccer and basketball put together, but there isn't a net, just a goal, but you use your hands? yes.

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]easterly
2008-01-20 10:02 pm UTC (link)
No, it has a basket with a net on it, hence the netball. You can't dribble the ball or anything, you just pass it up and down the court to the goal shoot who tries to get it in the net.

Next you'll be saying you don't know what pikelets and hokey pokey are! :o XD

Yeah, the passing is the same concept.

What's a pikelet? Haha, I know of a something called the hokey pokey!

Oh, well. YOU WEREN'T SPECIFIC ENOUGH. I found out what a pikelet is! Wooo. I knew it as a drop-scone, cos that's what they call it in England.

I think they're silver dollars in America. Hokey pokey isn't anything in America, they don't have it there.

But silver dollars are really thin and small and stuff, aren't pikelets usually thicker? And apparently we do have hokey pokey, but it's just called sponge toffee?

Yeah they're thick. I've never been to America though, I just describe things and trust what people tell me. :P
