Hi! I'm new here and I'm excited to meet you guys and get started. My name is Lauren and I'm bringing in Charlotte Baddock, a sixth year Slytherin. You can read her whole description here, but here are the basics.
Charlotte is a spunky, sarcastic flirt with an unexplainable need to snog people. Girls in houses other than Slytherin tend to view her as mean and bitter, but Charlotte doesn't really let that bother her. For some reason, the other Slytherins tend to understand her and they often share her frustrations.
While most people would consider snogging to be something intimate and to be shared with a special someone, Charlotte sees it more as just a casual part of conversation. Because of this, she doesn't realize when or if someone has actually fallen for her. She has a minor fear of more intimate romantic contact, so she normally tries to end the makeout sessions before they get too out-of-hand. It would take someone more than just the average snog to push her past her kissing limit.
Is anyone interested in a friendship or plotline? She could potentially have a few female friends who let her sarcastic comments roll off their backs, random snogging partners, the occasional guy who falls for her when she barely notices, and maybe even one guy who could mean more to her than she's ever known. There should probably be a fair share of people who don't understand her as well. Her older sister, Jane Baddock, is also up for grabs. Hey!! I wanted to share this here... Probably everyone is ahead of me and already has this add on, but in case not... This journal has the extensions for GJ, LJ, and IJ!

Anyhow it's the little program that automatically uploads all your icons for you!! You just put the four files into the folder that you want to upload and run the uploader. Make sure you only have the icons you want to upload in the folder though because it will upload all of them.
Anyhow, probably everyone has this, but in case not...
Oh, and added apologies to everyone that has imed me this week that I have missed by me being away practically all week! I really wasn't ignoring you, I promise!!

Apologies, PBs, and.. angioplasty?
Ok, first let me apologize profusely for my absence the last, err, week? or so? My mum was in the hospital.. She has leukemia, and had the have basically an emergency angioplasty on Friday. The central line that runs into her superior vena cava had become blocked and basically her entire upper body backed up causing massive blood clots. Very scary. But she made it, the surgery went wonderfully and she's already back home. So I should be back much more regularly again!
And as a side note I am changing Victoire's pb to the oh so lovely Quinn Cooper. Michelle and I had already discussed a number of options and I finally made up my mind. Because, ugh, Amy Adams just not working. Even though she is lovely and I adore her, just not working for me.

Smith if he's in a good mood. Dorian can get away with more, as can Ophelia, because for some reason he actually likes Dorian.
Me, I live in New Zealand, I cross-stitch and multi-task obsessively and require drugs to function, much like House but without the limp or the dubiously charming hatefulness. Or, you know, the medical genius. I do write though, when I can.

Mandella is the youngest child and only daughter Jack and of Susan (Bones) Sloper. She is a seventh year, Hufflepuff. Mandy is a wild, free spirit of sorts. She's spunky, clumsy and always looking for trouble. Still she has her Hufflepuff side, she cares about peoples feelings and tries to cheer them up to her best ability and is loyal to a 'T'. She believes in "blazing your own trail" so she'll stand by a friend even if she doesn't exactly agree with what they are doing, that is unless they hurt themselves or someone else.

Emily is a handful. She's theatrical, playful and unfiltered. She'll throw your homework in the fire if you ignore her too long, laughs a little too loud, and never believed her father when he said her face would get stuck like that. She might be a little energetic, but she's happy and playful. She wants everyone to like her and loves a challenge.
She will flirt with anyone who throws her a look, but she's been called a tease more than once. Emily flits from guy to guy, but almost as friends ... even if they don't know that.
There's a lot more in her app, so take a look if you're interested. Or ask me. That should give you a basic idea though. Can't wait to get playing with her!

Posting this with mod approval. I got this idea from another game I'm in and it was kinda fun seeing what people came up with, so I thought we should give it a try :]
Okay, so basically, the point of the activity is that you comment with your character's name and other people will reply to that comment with a question or several questions. You will then answer those questions IN CHARACTER. As for the questions, anything goes. Anything. But of course, if the character doesn't feel comfortable replying to a certain question, they can tell people to gtfo :]
ANOTHER THING. The activity won't affect any IC knowledge. So, if someone admits to having murdered their parents during the activity, that's still unknown info in the game. Also, basing questions off OOC knowledge it's fine, too. Does that make sense?
Oh and please, participate. Like, don't just put your character's name up and reply to questions. Ask questions, too :]

Starting Tuesday, so right now, people are going to be struck with an inability to lie. All truths. They can choose not to answer, if you need them to. But they can not speak or write a lie.
In addition, they're struck with bouts of honesty. You can put this stuff private to only friends, or private to the character, but they are compelled to confess to things.
This isn't to hurt anyone's plot, only make some more fun. So, if there's a big secret that you need to keep secret, that's perfectly fine. They still have the strike out option, but they are compelled to share with people.
ALSO: Wand magic has gone wonky and the creatures are spreading out of the common rooms. Be creative people. And if I don't see at least one instance of a silencing charm gone wrong and a dorm full of people listening to someone wank, I'll be very, very disappointed!
