Gilly was laying on her bed, kind of bored, and hoping that dumb phoenix didn't come back in here. She really hated birds. She was usually brave but she just couldn't stand birds. And now she was paranoid it would be back. She was also thinking about Dom. He was cute. Not that he probably liked her. Stupid family. If she had only gotten more of the Veela genes, then guys would like her. But no, she was barely half. She hated her hair, stupid red hair. And her dumb nose.
Still sneezing, Sam climbed the steps towards her dorm. She was fed up with that stupid Slytherin Harper. The things that girl had said about her mothers... it was like she knew that was Sam's one weak spot. Rounding the corner, she shoved the door open, a little harder than she'd intended, and it bounced off the wall, nearly coming back and hitting her in the face.
"Argh!" Sam growled, throwing her bag on the floor and herself onto her bed. "I HATE her!"
She looked up to see Sam come in, looking as frustrated as she herself probably looked. she frowned, and groaned. "Who do you hate?" She asked her friend, and teammate. The two girls weren't best friends, but they did get into scrapes sometimes together. They both liked causing a little trouble and after six years together they had caused plenty, but they also gave each other the benefit of the doubt as friends, too.
Flopping over onto her back, Sam punched the mattress. "Stupid Laura stupid Harper." she said, pushing herself into a sitting position and sneezing loudly. "She sent me an owl full of sneezing powder!"
Untying her shoes, she kicked them off, not caring where they landed. "After she insulted my mums!" she added, accidentally on purpose forgetting to add that in between the two incidents she'd hexed Laura's hair bright orange.
She blushed when Sam mentioned Laura. She knew Laura wasn't so bad, but when she heard the part about the sneezing powder she frowned. "What? Are you serious? We can't let Slytherin get away with this!" She stated. She didn't want to do anything to her friend, but she figured if she was in on Sam's plan she could make sure that Sam didn't do anything to bad to Laura. She sighed. "But wait, she insulted your family? She doesn't seem the type to do that." She shrugged, sitting up. "Maybe she didn't mean what she said." She offered as explanation.
"Of course she meant it!" Sam folded her legs under her and tapped her chin thoughtfully. "And if she didn't mean it, why would she say it!" This meant war. No one said things about her mums and got away with it! "And I have to get her back for the sneezing powder!"
Tugging a strand of hair down, she wound it around her finger. "But I'm all out of ideas... it has to be something GOOD."
"Want my help? We always do this stuff together? You'll need a look out. We don't want to get in trouble, after all. The team needs us both." She grinned, slyly. "Something good. Um, well, did you have anything in mind yet?"
"Yes, I need your help!" Sam leapt up, balancing on the mattress and hanging onto the posters of her bed. Matching her friends' grin, she quirked her lips to the side thoughtfully. "Unfortunately I'm all out of ideas..."
"Me too. I've been slow lately on that stuff. But between us, and maybe we can get Dom in on it, I am sure we can come up with something. You know, aside from kicking their houses butt in the game to come." She laughed.
"You think Dom would help?" Sam asked, giving a little sigh and sinking back to her mattress, melodramatically. Dom was SO cute. And thoughtful! When he'd healed her fingers, she thought she was going to die. "Really?"
"Yes, I think he would." She sighed. "Um, what do you think of Dom?" She asked, blushing, making it obvious she had a crush.
Twisting around on the bed, Sam hung her head over the side, regarding her friend upside down. "What do I think of him!" she echoed, not wanting to go into some of the thoughts she'd had featuring her Quidditch captain. "He's... wonderful..."
She blushed deeper. She knew this would be a problem. "Um, well, I was wondering cause I was a hoping you might know if he liked me at all. I don't mean like seriously, but well, maybe a snog or two worth." She shrugged. "It's just that he's so cute." She sighed, dreamily, forgetting the prank for a second on Laura.
"If he likes you!" Sam repeated, flabbergasted, her mouth dropping open. However, hanging upside down with your mouth open while still suffering from the effects of sneezing powder was not a good idea, as Sam found out. She sneezed, biting hard on her lip, breaking the skin open.
She made a choked noise, rolling over onto her front and sitting up again. "You like him?"
"Well, kind of." She shook her head. "But well, I mean, I know, well, I can tell you like him, too, and I don't want him coming between us. Maybe we can make a deal. Because we have to all play together. We can't be fighting over him. And of course we can both have him. We're young, there’s nothing that says we can't both hang out with him. Snog him." She blushed. She wanted to so bad, but she didn't know what he thought about it.
Sam patted lightly at her lower lip, dabbing up the little amount of blood. "Snog him, eh?" she echoed, her mind slipping off into that direction for a moment, a small smile floating onto her face, before she wrenched her thoughts back to the present. "That is an excellent idea..."
Tapping her chin, she sprawled back onto her bed. "Do you think he'd go for it though?"
"I don't know. Are you down for that? I mean, well, I've never really snogged with two people at once, have you?" She asked, curiously, wondering what it would be like.
Pursing her lips thoughtfully, Sam cocked her head to the side. "At once... you mean at once at once? At the same time? In the same room?" if she were to be completely honest with herself, the idea, although new, excited her a little.
"Yes, why not." She shrugged. She had never done that before, but well, it seemed kind of exciting to her, too. "Do you think he'd go for it? And would that make him think bad of us?" She asked, not that she cared, but well, she cared a little.
Sam twisted her lips to the side, thoughtfully. Part of her wondered if he could turn the offer down... two beautiful girls offering to snog him senseless! But the rest of her thought that yes, he most definitely could. Then again, what was the harm in trying? "Why wouldn't he?" she asked, rolling onto her side and propping herself up on her elbow. "Two gorgeous girls offering to snog him senseless, he'd have to be insane to say no!"
She laughed. "You're absolutely right. So, first part of the plan, we snog Dom. Second part, we get revenge on Slytherin." She hops off her bed laughing, and bounces onto Sam's bed, suddenly more awake.
"Excellent..." Sam drawled, tapping her fingers together. "I say we find him!" Leaping off her bed, she landed on her feet. "Where is he this time of day?"
"Hmm, what time is it?" She asked, laughing. "I was kind of out of it before you came in."
"About an hour before dinner." Sam answered, slipping her feet into her shoes and holding her hand out for Gilly.
"Well, let's wait till dinner, we'll get him at the table and bring him back here with us. You don’t care if he sneaks in our room, right?" She giggles, slyly.
Sam feigned a shocked expression. "A boy! In a girl's room!" unable to keep up the charade, she burst into giggles. "We can kidnap him!"
"Ohhhh, now that is even better. Let's do it." She squeals.
"To the Great Hall!" Sam laughed, posing dramatically and pointing downwards.
