Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
who: Alexandria Vaisey + Dominic Wolfe
what: transfigurations class
Where: Transfiguration class room.
When: Friday Afternoon
Rating: PG 13 at most.

Alexandria was not going to let Dominic think that his comments last night had affected her in anyway. Reluctantly, she had gathered her things and walked with a few of her friends into the Transfiguartion room. She scanned the room and made sure that she sat as far away from Dominic as she possibly could in order to make sure that there would be no interaction with him.

As Ms. Wolfe-Vaisey (as she insisted to be called by her students) took the front of the classroom, Alex took to chatting with the girls nearest to her and doodling when the girls failed to keep her interest. She was hardly paying attention when the woman began to pass out long, copper candle holders.

"You will be transfiguring these into flowers," she said, briskly, a perminent smile on her face. "I regret to inform you that I do not have enough for the class so two of you will be asked to share." She told them stopping in front of Alex. "Why don't you go work with Dominic?" she suggested sweetly.

Alex opened her mouth to retort, but decided against it. Alexandria was always one to maintain a calm, almost nice, facade in public. She nodded, not wanting to speak and relcutantly marched over to where Dominic sat.

"Hello." She said bitterly, her lips drawn together in annoyance and her arms drapped across her chest.

Dominic inwardly groaned at his mum's idea of subtle manipulation and clenched his teeth as the twit marched over to where he sat. Inwardly, he was pleased that she had moved to where he was. It might be a small thing, but it was something.

He looked up at her from his notebook and quirked a brow.

"Don't you want to throw a tantrum now?" he asked in a quiet voice. "Throw some things about or flail your arms like the spoiled little daddy's girl you are?"

Carefully, Alexandria pulled out the seat next to him. She had been willing to keep her mouth shut long enough to transfigure the stupid candle holders, but she found out rather quickly that it would be impossible around Dominic.

"I will have you know that unlike you and your Gryffindor lot I am perfectly able to keep my mouth shut and project a desired pattern of behaviors." She said in a slow, practiced tone, biting her tongue to keep from saying anything to unbelievably hurtful.

"Now, I believe we should stop wasting time with such silly chatter and get on with our assignment." She said a little louder, making sure that his mother heard in hopes that she would believe they had made amens and were getting along so that she would never pull this stunt again.

"You can behave yourself? I wouldn't have guessed that. What with calling a professor a slag in your journal."

He purposefully kept his voice just loud enough that Alex could think his mother would hear, but quiet enough that he knew she wouldn't. As Alexandria tried to focus on their candlestick, he dragged it to his side of the table and turned in his seat, propping his arm on the table between her and the candlestick.

"How are things with the quidditch dykes?" He reached out and brushed the hair out of her face and then pulled a face. "No bruises, I see. Anyone spit on you? I did promise them no laps after all. I'd be a shame to go back on my word."

Alexandria's eyes grew wide as he spoke, "I can not be held responsible for things I may have said about a professor in fits of rage. I am also quite certain that you do not wish to speak of that minor arguement last night." She said matching his tone, just in case his mother had heard. She frowned at him and her eyes narrowed as he pulled the candlestick away from her.

"What do you think you are doing?" she asked in annoyance, shrinking back as his hand come towards her face, her eyes watching him carefully. While Alex was fairly certain the boy would not physically strike her (especially in front of his mother) she did not take chances and Alex being the type of person who was not normally touched, flinched almost every time some one randomly raised a hand in her direction.

"Funny." She said bitterly moving out of his reach. "Your friends are wiser than their residency-and company-suggests. No one has made an ill willed move toward me." She told him, watching him carefully.

"Oh, careful then. I feel a fit of rage coming on, if we're not held responsible for them."

He studied her, a slight sneer on his face. Truthfully, he didn't want to dredge that fight up again. After the fact, he'd felt horrible about mentioning her mother like that. It was way out of line and he knew it.

"We're chatting." He smirked when she flinched away from his touch. "I thought you weren't afraid of me, Alex. Oh, but we've covered this," he leaned forward and whispered, "you're not used to people wanting to touch you."

Inwardly, he was glad that no one had tried to hurt her because of what he'd said. His temper had run away with him and he'd acted without thinking. But all he said was, "They're biding their time."

She rolled her eyes at this comment, "What you fail to understand is that if you were to have a fit of rage at this very moment everyone would notice and stop what there doing. Likely, you'd just embarrass yourself and people will think that you are a right arse." She said casually with a shrug before adding, "Not that you don't already."

"I'm just trying to keep my face from catching whatever diseases are on your hand, merlin only knows with the way you probably sit around in your dorm touching yourself." She said calmly, leaning against him slightly, grabbing hold of the candlestick and moving it back to her.

"Now, if you don't mind I would like to do my work." She told him, her words dripping in simple annoyance, opting to ignore him. If they were going to attack her they would have done so by now.

"I'd draw attention to myself? Oh no, I care so much what people think about me." Clearing his throat, he exclaimed very loud, "Steady there! You've got a bug!"

Reaching out, he mussed her hair until bits had escaped her ponytail and the entire thing looked dreadful.

"I got it!" In a stage whisper that everyone could still hear he added, "A shower would take care of those buggers, you know?"

Sitting back, he took the opportunity to snatch back the candlestick. He set it just out of her reach and kept his hand on it, almost daring her to take it back. The way people were staring at them now, he couldn't help but grin.

"Oh, and you're right. I wanked right before class actual, so this is a landmark occasion for you. The first time you've had cum in your hair."

"What?" She blurted out before she realized what he was doing. She swatted his hands and struggled as he mussed up her hair. Hopefully his mother was beginning to see the error in her ways with all the fuss that was going on at the table.

Alex's hands flew to her hair as it became exposed. Alex reluctantly took her hair down and ran her fingers through it, before placing it carefully back into a ponytail, hoping that it looked fine. She shot a look over to the girls she had been talking to earlier, her friends far off on the Slytherin side. They looked at her with almost sympathetic eyes before realizing what they were doing and averting their eyes, none of them bothering to say anything about the scene that had just played out.

Alex snatched th candlestick from him, "I believe I had this first, let me finish my work in peace." She didn’t understand why he wouldn’t just let her finish the assignment and go back to her corner; this was all just childish and pathetic really. Obviously, he was getting much more amusement by messing with her than she was from messing with him.

"I would like for nothing more than to get rid of you and your VD tainted hand, thank you. Now leave me be." She demanded in a whisper.

He rolled his eyes as she fussed with herself. Obviously she was a lot more concerned about what other people thought than he was. Most people were, but she seemed more concerned than most people.

"You had it first? What are you, a first year? Are you afraid of my cooties?"

As she continued to snark at him about getting their work done he lost interest and sat back to let her finish. After a few seconds he got bored of that and leaned close into her personal space.

"Want me to do that? I'd hate for you to work up a sweat trying to impress me. We all know how much you hate that."

Alex didn't notice, nor did she care that Dominic had rolled his eyes at her. Why would she care what he thought about her, she knew that had her mother been able to see how her daughter had just looked, she would have been disgusted.

"If thats what it takes to keep this in my possession long enough for me to transfigure it than yes, I'm a first year." She told him, sighing and settling into her seat. She had started to set to work on the task at hand when she found Dominic in her personal space. She turned her head and looked at him warily.

"I would never try to impress you, first of all. And its just a simple transfiguration, it shouldn't take me more than a minute." She told him, waving her wand and transfiguring it with relative ease. Transfiguration had always been one of her better classes despite her new found dislike for the teacher.

"Good. Cut your losses and don't even bother trying. There's nothing about you at all impressive."

Technically that wasn't true, of course. He let his eyes linger on her breasts for a minute and smirked to himself. The girl was beautiful. If he could cast a silencing charm on her and didn't mind a dead fuck ... she'd probably do well enough.

She finished the transfiguration quickly and rather handedly, not that he would admit that. Instead he leaned in close and frowned.

"I hope we're not being graded on this. It's pretty sloppy. I know wanting to shag me so badly is distracting, but try to focus on the work at hand, if you would."

"I am more impressive, I suspect, than you will ever know." She told him calmly, examining her work. She knew that he work was good enough to get high marks, maybe not top marks, but high none-the-less. She followed his line of sight to her breast. "Perhaps you will see that my work is rather good, if you stopped staring at my breast." She told him, a satisfied smirk settling on her lips.

Alex, looked him over carefully. He was rather good looking albeit a jerk as soon as he opened his mouth and had they been two completely people, who knew what might happen. Not that she would ever vocalize that thought.

"Now are you sure it isn't you who wants to shag me?" she asked raising her eyebrows.

"If your work was more impressive or anything you had to say was remotely interesting, maybe I wouldn't have to resort to looking at your breasts. Which are the only remotely impressive things about you, by the way."

He rolled his eyes at her and pulled what had once been a candlestick back in front of him. With a swish of his wand he changed it back to a candlestick and then did the Transfiguration correctly. It basically looked identical to hers, but he gave a satisfied smirk none the less.

"Why would I want to shag you? I could have my pick of girls. You're the one who's sexual repressed and lonely."

"I know, I know, you are just sad that these are better than any breasts you'd ever get close too." She said lowly, standing up, her arms resuming their spot across her chest. "And I should have you know that I am by no means repressed or lonely."

"I can see now, that our work here is done. Have a great day, Wolfe." She said sarcastically, turning to march back off to her original seat when the teacher called out to her.

"Alexandria," she said in an overly sweet voice, "I'd appriciate if you'd stay were I put you until the end of class."

Alex froze and spun on her heel, so badly wanting to tell her to sod off. "Yes, Ma'am." She said, her voice bitter and sarcastic as she reluctantly made her way towards Dominic again. She pulled the seat over more toward the end of the table, away from Dominic before sitting down.

"Oh, sweetie, they're not that great. Guys say all sorts of shit when we're hoping for a blow job."

He watched her start to walk away with a sense of near disappointment. She was an excellent toy to play with and abuse. Usually he was forced to sit alone at his table. His mum had decided early on that he was better able to focus and didn't disrupt the class as much when he didn't have anyone to talk to nearby.

So, when Summer made Alexandria return to sit next to him he smirked in triumphant. He knew exactly what his mother was trying to do, of course, but that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy the distraction.

"Yeah, you're not repressed at all." He leaned close to her and mocked, "My mum just made you her bitch."

"I don't need a boy to tell me that I'm gorgeous." She told him with a confident smile as she rolled her eyes. "And not all guys are pigs like you are, Dominic." She rubbed her face with her hand and sighed.

"Sod off, Wolfe." She muttered, crossing her arms and laying her head on the table, she wanted to be anywhere else but here, anywhere else. This was just pathetic. She wasn't going to let Dominic win, even if it meant putting her head down on the table and not bothering to speak to him.

"Don't be naive. Anything a guy says in hopes of getting a girl naked or keeping her naked is complete shite."

When she just gave up on the conversation and dropped her head he stared at her for a few minutes. He hated being ignored and had the strangest desire to yank on her hair, just to elicit a reaction.

"So, your father moved on awfully quickly, didn't he? You think he just missed lording over someone? Did he beat you as a child? Is that where this fear of touch thing came from? Do I need to sleep with a rape whistle?"

As it turned out, Alexandria wasn't as good as ignoring Dominic as she once thought. The moment he began to talk about her father she sat up. She glared at him and moved close to him, staring him directly in the eye.

"I am going to say this once and only once," She told him speaking in a low dark tone, "My father is a respectable man who has obviously had a severe lapse in judgement. He does not beat or rape people. Maybe, if your mum hadn't put out on the first date, we wouldn't be in this situation."

Having said that, she moved her seat back to where it had been.

Dominic gave a slow, evil grin as she reacted so ferociously to his words. He'd hit a nerve, obvious. Now all he had to do was poke at it until she truly lost her temper. If she cared so much for what other people thought, public humiliation might be the best form of torture.

"I'm glad you're only going to say it once. I don't think I could bare listening to that bullshit constantly. Deny it all you like, but someone obviously did something to you. You're twitchy and uptight and unpleasant."

At the comment about his mum he glanced back at the table behind theirs and stole a candlestick without a word of explanation. Transfiguring it into a metal vase full of water, he slid their flower inside. With one last flick of his wand he colored the flower a deep blood red and slid it toward her.

"You want to keep bringing my mum up? I'll keep bringing up yours."

As he stopped talking the rose bud burst into flame.

Alexandria barely had time to react to anything. She had opened up her mouth to respond to him when the flower that he had placed in front of her burst into flames. Her eyes grew wide as she stared at it, tears edge out the side of her eyes, and her mouth set slightly agape. A small whimpering noise, slid softly from between her lips and she pushed her chair far away from it, watching as the flames slowly fell into the water and put itself out. She could almost feel the classrooms eyes on her, wondering why she had acted with such fear. She did not like being made a fool of. Standing, she grasped the vase and poured the water onto Dominic before throwing the vase as hard as she could (which was a surprising amount of force) at him. Turning on her heel and not saying a word to anyone she hurriedly rushed to the doors of the classroom, pushing them open and exiting.
