A recent visit from Tucker Longbottom tells me that you have been overworked and are becoming quite ill. I must say that I am offended that you did not come to me for help, but never you mind that now. You are to go straight to the hospital wing, Madame Pomfrey is waiting to assist you and to get you back to regular help. Miss. Longbottom is allowed to visit whenever you like and you are going to be excused from your classworks and detentions.

Please refrain from fighting in the Common Room, I hear Mr. Nott had a rather broken arm. I would punish you but I feel that punishment from Professor Longbottom was more than enough to make you think about your decisions.

Onward,
Professor Slughorn.
Good pick on the Longbottom girl.

I Um Thanks, Professor.

I also need to discuss the option of dropping that bastards cl Herbology with you. Perhaps after I've returned to health.

Apologies for fighting in the Common Room. I'll take it somewhere else next time

Regards,
James Bradfield

Glad you approve.
