Jennifer pulled on her hair, sighing softly. She had woken up extremely early for a girl like herself, which in reality, was a normal time for the rest of the world. Trying to ignore her drowsiness, Jennifer played loud music in her ear; most of it from her preferred band, Bring Me The Horizon. Soon enough, she'd have to slip on her apron and serve tables, which isn't as hard as people sell it out to be. It just so happens that boatloads of people don't show up to Cassadaga Hotel's cafe before noon, because they are sensible people and are either sleeping or doing something better with their lives.
Jennifer practically dragged her body over to her closet where the beloved apron lay, not really ready to start a work day. "Come on, Jenn," she spoke softly to herself, "get it together. You're on your own, you can't act like some silly teenager." Calmed down to a sense, Jennifer took out the apron and wrapped it around her torso, somewhat nervous to go the cafe. What if she messed up big time?
Worry coated Jennifer's mind the whole walk over to the small restaurant; she was almost on the verge of hyperventilating. Finally, when she arrived, Jennifer calmed down a tad. There was no one in sight, and that meant she wouldn't have to interact until such act occurred. She walked by to where the chefs worked and waved, smiling a little. A little kindness wouldn't hurt anybody, and she needed to make semi-friends soon anyways. Whether it was with the chefs or a dog, she was going to have a companion on this short or long journey.
