Who: Wan and Sadie Banner + anyone curious about the afternoon climber Where: Climbing the Castle When: September 26th, 2pm-6pm (climbing); 6pm on (for lazing on the roof) Warning: Wan being an adrenaline junkie Status: Semi-open (see prompts)/In progress
Open Wan took his time climbing the castle. He had nothing else to do (other than homework) and no where else to be. There was no rush. So he stopped fairly frequently on window sills and balconies as he made his way from the ground floor all the way up to the top of Ravenclaw tower. He could be spotted both climbing up and settling in for a rest, in the middle of rest drinking some water (possibly with Sadie hovering near him in her broom), or just starting to climb out and get going again.
He was dressed much more lightly than usual. His school uniform no where in sight, replaced by very worn jeans and a single t-shirt that hung far more loosely than it should on his shoulders. There were plenty of old scars across his biceps from scraps and tumbles with people on the streets he'd grown up on and he was obviously far skinnier than he had any right to be. Not a healthy skinny, either. Anyone that might have sort of believed the scribbler's first rumor about him 'cutting and bruising' himself over Christine supposedly cheating on him had all the evidence they needed to think it actually plausible if they managed to see him like this. It wasn't true, but the fact that he normally hid this about his appearance wasn't going to help him in the face of rumor mongers that saw him.
If anyone caught his attention and wanted to chat, he would stay to talk for a bit before moving on.
Closed to Sadie Wan put the broom he intended to accio at the end of his climb on the ground as directly below Ravenclaw tower as he could. He was dressed much more lightly than usual. His school uniform had been traded in for a pair of well-worn, almost threadbare jeans, and a single, loose t-shirt. It hung off his shoulders in a way that made it clear he was far skinnier than he'd ever let on. His clothing had always been a little loose, but he'd usually wear a few shirts layered on to give him the appearance of more 'normal' bulk. He'd decided to forgo that today since he'd be climbing and he wanted as little extra weight on him as possible. Sadie volunteering to bring him water on his breaks helped him immensely in that area.
He set his hands on his hips and craned his head back to look up, "Start now, and I should be there by sunset. Could be there faster, but..." he shrugged. "It's not a race, right?"
