Re: Lyra and Hannah
The events of the World Cup felt so long ago. The madness that unraveled as soon as the Dark Mark curled into the sky. As it painted the sky above Hogwarts now, Hannah felt all the panic and fear of that night. The screams of the people desperate to get away as the Death Eaters closed in. Could the Death Eaters now penetrate the walls of Hogwarts? She hoped not. She knew that some students came from families associated with the Lady Nyx but that was so long ago . . .
She immediately went into action. Hannah had told many students to go directly for their dorms. As a prefect she needed to keep a cool head, and maybe, just maybe, she channeled a little of her brother in the authority she spoke. Students listened to the ginger-haired prefect from Gryffindor, even those of Slytherin that went bustling about.
Hannah was now trying to direct students where to sit and to keep calm. There were more than just Gyffindors here, but safe here was better than out in the halls where danger might exist. Nobody would know for sure until their headmaster told them it was safe. Hannah felt tightly wound though, trying to keep a cool head and she was succeeding for the most part. Her eyes searched for certain faces, Dom in particular, but she trusted that he was safe. Dom was more capable than people might think him.
Someone bumped into her and Hannah turned to see her friend Lyra. "Oh, I'm fine," Hannah said, "Are you okay? Guess you couldn't make it to Ravenclaw."
