Who: Derek and Wan What: Playing with the critters Where: Groundskeeper's hut, animal pens When: Thursday, September 24th, evening Warnings: TBA/Low Status: Closed/Incomplete
Wan had sent Derek a message earlier in the day, asking for some time with the creatures and some extra tutoring. Considering how well he'd handled the Thestrals, Derek was inclined to let him, if only because two hands made quicker work.
To save time, Derek had gotten the food each of the creatures needed out of the storehouse and the icebox around back of the hut, since that was hardly exciting and he didn't like other people messing with his storage. He had everything set up as he wanted it, and while he was sure some people (Stiles came immediately to mind) would call him anal retentive or obsessive, he just liked knowing where everything was and how much he had. It made things easier. Shut up, mind-Stiles.
...they really had to start spending less time together.
As Derek was setting down the last of the bags, he saw Wan coming down from the castle and stood up straight, nodding to him. "We'll start with feeding time, and then I'll give you a lesson, okay? I was going to do this with your class next month, but I guess a head start couldn't hurt. Don't tell your classmates about it, I want it to be a surprise." He hid an evil grin as he ducked down and hefted a bag of feed over his shoulder. "Come on."
