Who: Molly and Meru Where: Quidditch pitch When: 1/16, afternoon Warning: Captainly smack talk so possibly taunts? Status: Closed/Incomplete
Molly was finding herself more than a little bit exhausted the past few days. Between running Quidditch practices and worrying about graduation, it was a lot to take on. Not that things would stop in the summer- she would be working with Harry still, and while that was great, it was also really difficult. She had in the past considered handing her captain’s role to one of the others on the team, though at this point in her mind it seemed better to hold off. The year was almost half over and honestly she was doing okay most of the time. She had just been thinking too much with the loss of Battye and the craziness with Gabe (that would not be discussed. At all. Ever.) All of that could very easily be the problem, since she had to train a new chaser. Again.
She walked out to the pitch with her notes from the last game, seating herself in the stands to start looking over them. She knew she should be working on classwork too, but she didn’t care about it as much. She would pass. She knew that much. Hard work built character, she knew, and she did tend to have to work at things outside of quidditch. Either way though? Quidditch was now her main focus. But the pitch wasn't empty, she noted as she glanced up. No. There was another person out there, and she smirked as she figured out who it was. "Hey, Meru! Looking forward to losing?
