Carnaval de la Lumière

Hello everyone.

My name is Steve Rogers, and I guess I'm your new dog trainer. I just thought I'd leave a note here and say that if there is anything I can do, or anyone who needs help, please just ask. I'm looking forward to meeting each and every one of you.

I'm under the impression that quite a few of us aren't from the time we know or remember, and I just want you all to know that I know what that's like, I know it can be difficult, but the best thing to do in the situation you find yourself in is band together, be strong, and move forward. Winston Churchill once said "If you're going through hell, keep going" and that's the best advice I think anyone could give at a time like this.

Dear Diary,

Not only does the carnival want to dictate our every move, but now it's taken it a step further and wants us to write about our feelings. We better start bartering for some balls boys cause this shit is getting kind of pathetic.

This isn't something I've ever really done before. Writing down things when words and what they could reveal are so precious. But after being taken away to that place I can hardly remember it now, being so happy, it still hurts I guess I'll try my hand at it. Because this is where we are now and we have to accept it, right?

Or at least that's what I keep telling myself. But most mornings I still forget when I wake up for those few seconds that everything has changed. I wonder when that will go away and if I'll be more content then or afraid to lose another piece of home.
