Sara was still upset about everything that had happened with Oliver. She had known they wouldn't be together, but him being with her sister was hard on her. It wasn't because she was jealous, but if she wanted to be close to her sister she would have to see him....and since she was still in the process of moving on that was hard. She didn't want to drive him away from her sister though, because she certainly wanted Laurel to be happy. It was just hard to be around him right now, but for the moment she just wanted to forget everything and just relax. She needed to stop worrying so much and then maybe with time things would get easier. That was what she had to believe, because otherwise she would just worry herself into a panic attack and she knew that wouldn't be good in this place. She hadn't really explored this new place, so she decided that now might be a good time to do that since it would help take her mind off everything. She was already making her way down the hallways on the ship. Even though she had made her way into a few rooms she hadn't found a room that interested her enough to stay in for long. She finally found one room that might be interesting enough to keep her mind occupied for a while. Of course it would be the library. Most people underestimate her when it comes to the intelligence department. They assume because she's athletic that she isn't smart, but that really isn't the case. She actually does enjoy reading, mainly because she enjoys learning new things. So, she made her way over to the first shelf of books in the room. Even on this one shelf there were just so many books to choose from. Eventually she decided on three and that way when she was finished with one she wouldn't have to get up to get another one. With the three books in her hand she made her way over to a chair near the back of the room. She made herself comfortable in the chair and picked the first book from her stack and opened it. With a deep breath she began to read. Apparently she was really into the book, because before she knew she was two chapters in and suddenly she was hearing the sound of the door open. She looked up and another young woman was walking into the room. She couldn't help noticing how beautiful the other woman is and she flashed her a small smile before looking back down at her book. She tried getting back into the book, but she found herself looking up every few moments to see what the other woman was doing. |
