When the verizon guy fixed out internet today (after weeks of trying to get him to come) he said we didn't have internet connected and he was surprised we could get on. The line was broken? I don't know how we got on, but all the same, we HAVE INTERNET NOW! Amen! That said, I've still been more active than people with internet and the last 2 weeks has mostly me or posts where I nudged people active. That's how I know when a game is dead. RIP Capeless. We had a few players quite roleplay altogether in the last few weeks and that has done us in. Good luck finding games in the future. If you're into Harry Potter or Original RPG you can contact me for some leads. |

Tomorrow afternoon another "routine Sentinel test run" will be interrupted by Magneto himself, who will tear the robot in half and leave it on the roof of the Flatiron Building. React accordingly. Avengers will be called to the scene. Magneto will get away. Brotherhood will be there to hinder police efforts to stop it. |

Julie Power is Starstreak is Bob Hi Folks! This is Bob, and I am joining the game with a 19 year old Julie Power. In this version of things she has become an Avenger after having taken a little bit of time off. I will hold of on going into her past too much until I have talked to Alex Power's player. I am willing to follow the lead on their mutual history, and I will assume there has been some estrangement of the siblings. When Frost mentioned this place I had NO IDEA that I knew so many people here. So if we have played together before... yay! and if not... well... yay, I look forward to our playing together. I almost forgot!! Is there an Avenger's mansion or base? I assume they get a stipend and are taken care of well enough. Is there anything I should know other than that there is a code of conduct that Julie has not yet violated. |

Sorry I've been away... (x-posted) So, a couple things going on with me... for those of you who don't know, I'm pregnant. (10 weeks 6 days today. Lorna's pregnancy is simply mirroring my own.) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v That was taken a couple weeks ago. Yay little Casper! So, that's one of the reasons I've been away/absent-minded/tired/nauseous/etc. I'm sorry that I've been a slacker as of late, but I've been busy creating another little being. ^^ And I've got a terrible head cold. Apparently, my immune system is lower than normal, and I've got a head cold that's KILLING me. I'm doing my best to sleep all day, drink lots of fluids, and take it easy. (Yeah, like THAT'S hard to do.) Anyway, so I should be back to normal soon. I'll be around to make posts tomorrow, since I'm planning on staying home again tomorrow to try and kick this head cold. But today I'm still stuffed in my nose and face, and I want to go lounge on the sofa again for the rest of the day. The 2 Candidates in the 2008 election in the Marvel Universe are Senator Robert Kelly (Senator, MA, GOP) and Stephen Colbert (Dem). I know it's crazy to have a MA senator who is a Republican, especially not a crazy one, but that's fiction for you. It's okay to have a crazy Governor who believes on light sentencing for rape if its a first offense, just God forbid he be a Republican. Senator Kelly is pro registration and for continuing the programs he helped pass in the senate for "defense of our country". Stephen Colbert, who only registered as a Democrat because it was cheaper, is against the registration with the job placement programs because it reeks of socialism. Those are your candidates. XD |

I'm sorry I vanished! Sometimes RL gets in the way. First I was the chair for a project in my church where we collected donations to ship to soldiers overseas. The collecting/sorting/packing event was this weekend. Then I went to a wedding Saturday. It was my first gay wedding. (Yay! ^_^) So much fun. It was a beautiful service. And my grandmother passed out during the reception. We took her to the emergency room around 4, and they decided at 9 to keep her overnight. She's fine, but it gave us all a terrible scare. Then I had to deal with all the boxes to ship overseas. I had to collect addresses (anysoldier.com only gives you more than two if you make a donation) and re-package all the boxes. I sent 26 Large Flat Rate Boxes today, and that's only a third of the donations. I'll probably be gone most of next weekend, too, to finish up with the donations and church group stuff. >_< But I'm gonna try to be around as much as I can until then. What'd I miss while I was gone? (x-posted to all my games) |

Question Quick question: Is anyone else having problems signing onto AIM? It'll let me get on my old name, but for some reason I can't get on xscarletkittie. I've even tried using Meebo hoping it was just my app screwing up, but it's not working there either. |

Surprise! Set here with character #3: Alex Power. Odd character choice? Yeah, a little. But I wanted my third character to at least step away from the world of the Merry Mutants, so I'm kind of flying blind here. Bobby and Julian are basically my crutches for writing in the MU. Stable crutches they are. So, here's some stuff about Alex: He's a mutant. He didn't get his powers from some random ass horsey alien thing, because horse aliens were basically 'what the hell are these people on?' when they were created, and twenty years later it's still 'the hell?'. Oh, and he's a Marauder. Field Team. Not for long, though. This Alex is a sheltered person, having been raised in private with his four siblings. He's still the oldest, but in case other people want to play with the idea they can muck with the order if they wish. When their mom died, Alex sort of took over the nurturing role. Their dad is a major dick, having been corrupted in the name of science! As such, Alex doesn't have any current prior connections. But I figured I would explain where the hell that Alex in the Marauder section came from! Hope it came as a surprise. I was hoping it would have been more impacting, but such is life. |

Out like a trout! O_o (x-posted to all my games) I know it's really short notice, and I'm sorry for that. I'm going to Florida for the weekend. (It's a church retreat thing that's totally awesome, and I'm on the committee for it, yadda yadda yadda.) I'll be gone until Sunday night, but then I think we're going to my folks' place for dinner. So, long story short (too late) I'll be gone until Monday. But when I'm back on Monday, I'm down for some MAJOR PLAYAGE. Get your pups out. I wanna play. (Also, I'm sorry I've been such a space cadet lately. I've got a really good reason for it, and I'll share as soon as I can. <3) Jean: Jean's still at the Hellfire Club. She's spending a lot of time with Jason, flickering back and forth between Jean and The Phoenix. They give her a lot of freedom, so she's been wandering around, too. It's entirely possible that people have bumped into her on the street. She's being herself more and more as The Phoenix is learning to love her, and she really wants to go home. Angel: Angel's been kidnapped. How's that thread moving? I'm going to let you guys take over... just mention what happens to Angel, and I'll post when I get back for her. ;) Lorna: Lorna's hanging around being pregnant. She's setting up an appointment with an OBGYN, and wants Alex to go with her. Let's make it for next week? I'm totally planning on having them see the heartbeat, since she'll be around 7-8 weeks pregnant when they go in. Matt: I'm still working on the scene with Matt and Elektra, and I think we've still got Pete and Matt going, too. Matt's doing his lawyer thing, hanging around. If the scene with Elektra ends well, he's going to want to see a lot of her. (Jubilee has competition. ^_~) Ummm... I think that's all.
