17th of October 2008, Ryo, Hiroki and Miyuki
Hiroki carefully grabbed Ryo's hand and smiled a little down at it as he let his finger carefully run over the ring.
"Two weeks...," he whispered lowly, just wanting to say it out loud because it was just something that deserved to be announced like this. The older one was still sleeping though and Hiroki planned on letting him remain that way for a while. Yesterday (or rather, this morning) he had gotten home at around five in the morning after all. There was no need to wake him when the clock was barely eight. Hiroki knew this because he'd woken up when Ryo had gotten to bed, which obviously hadn't been what the older one wanted but since Hiroki had no problems going back to sleep it wasn't that big of a deal.
As he felt how Ryo moved, Hiroki quickly lifted his head to look at his boyfriend (and husband, and lover, and the father of their child, and...) and as the older one blinked a little, he bit down on his lower lip.
"I woke you...," Hiroki said in a low voice and, still holding on to Ryo's hand, he looked at the other one with apologetic eyes. "I'm sorry... go back to sleep...?"
Smiling at Hiroki, Ryo tried to hold back a yawn. It was way too early to be awake, yet he didn't feel like he would mind staying up, for now at least. As he realized that Hiroki was holding on to his hand, Ryo let his smile widen a bit as he entwirled his fingers with Hiroki's. With a lazy shake of his head and bit of shifting around in the bed, moving a bit closer to the younged one, Ryo cleared his throat a bit before talking.
"'s okay baby..," He mumbled, blinking the sleep away before quickly leaning in to plant a kiss on the younger one's lips.
"...Rather watching you in real life than dream..." He continued as he leaned back, humming happily. Not that the Hiroki he saw when he closed his eyes was not good, but you couldn't really compete with the real one, besides the dream had been weird, and the Hiroki lying next to him on the bed, just woken up, was rather adorable.
As it wasn't something that happened normally, Hiroki's heart skipped a beat as Ryo called him 'baby'. On any other day he would disagree and say that he didn't like it, he would say that he wasn't 'a baby' or anything else, but right now...
Smiling shyly up at the older one, Hiroki nursed his bottom lip between his teeth for a little while before shaking his head a little bit.
"Darling...," he started, his voice as low as Ryo's. "You're way too good to me..." And he meant that, he meant it very much but right now it was probably not the right time to say something like that... But it was nice of Ryo not to get angry, wasn't it?
Laughing against his pillow softly, Ryo tightened his hold on Hiroki's hand. This was so silly, yet he didn't really mind, it was okay to be silly like this once in a while right?
"Never good enough for you, hun" He mumbled then, lifting his hand up to brush some hair behind Hiroki's ear. Somehow he really felt like that though, that he would never be good enough for the younger one, Hiroki deserved the best after all... but for some reason Hiroki had chosen to spend his life with him, to marry him, he had a ring on his finger, a ring that had a date inscribed in it, a date that... a wide smile spread on his lips as he realized that exactly two weeks ago, he had slipped that ring onto Hiroki's finger.
"Happy two week anniversary~" Ryo said as he leaned in to softly press his lips on Hiroki's.
Smiling widely into the kiss, Hiroki kissed back as much as he could (that would fit the mood, of course) and once Ryo pulled back, the younger one instead locked eyes with him.
"Happy two week anniversary to you too love," he answered as he then turned his head to rest it against Ryo's shoulder. This was really, really perfect. Being able to lie like this, whisper small things to each other... and Miyuki was still sleeping - though she'd probably wake up soon.
Humming quietly as he wrapped his arm around Hiroki, Ryo closed his eyes for a while. It was nice to lie in the bed like this, not sleeping but not quite awake either, just enjoying each others company.
"Oi.." Ryo mumbled as he poked Hiroki on his side with his free hand after a while, "You didn't get any two week anniversary present for you awesome husband?" He teasingly whined, eyes still closed.
"Hmm...," Hiroki hummed in reply and tipped his head back a bit so he could look up at the older one. "Maybe later sweetie," he eventually whispered before reaching up to claim Ryo's lips. Honestly he hadn't thought about gifts yesterday or the day before but now that Ryo mentioned it, Hiroki would probably end up getting a shirt or something for him later.
Smiling as the kiss broke, Ryo let his fingers play with Hiroki's hair as he stared up at the ceiling.
"A new car would be cool.." He said offhandedly, of course not meaning it at all, honestly, he didn't want anything, it was only two weeks anyways, not a big deal at all. Moving down a bit, so that he would be able to whisper into Hiroki's ear, Ryo held on the younger one a bit tighter as he spoke. "Don't need anything else when I've got you sugar."
For a few seconds Hiroki was silent, just letting the words sink in and enjoyed the atmosphere right now. Currently it was difficult to think that the two of them ever fought or would fight - everything was so perfect after all. Even if they were calling each other things that were a bit... perhaps silly, it was still perfect.
"Maybe...," Hiroki began then and moved a bit as he tried to lie closer. "We can get a new car early next year, sweetheart, but not now~" Not that they didn't have money - they did - but they didn't really have time to look for new cars. Hiroki agreed though, a new car would be cool... and it would be their first car too.
"We need one," he continued, "you, me and Miyuki... a car that's ours."
Turning to so that he could face the younger one, Ryo studied Hiroki's face for a while before saying anything.
"Mm... a big one, one of those family sized ones!" He grinned widely at his partner. Big cars were cool, and big. And awesome, and manly! Not that he needed one just to prove that he was manly though... Leaning in a bit, Ryo softly kissed Hiroki's neck,
"Who knows," He whispered as he moved up, gently nibbling on his earlobe. "Some day we might actually need a car like that." Because who said the Nishikido-Uchi family couldn't grow bigger? Surely not at this point, no. But it wouldn't be bad if Miyuki would get a sister or a brother some time in the future, quite... faraway to the future perhaps, with how they were both busy and Miyuki was still so young, it wasn't like they were in hurry, not at all, but in his opinion, the girl would be a good bigger sister, definitely, she was their kid after all.
Sitting up quickly as he heard noices, Ryo got up from the bed after having streched and yawned a couple of times. Smiling as he walked out of the bedroom, Ryo went to pick up his daughter from her crib, and kissed the girl good morning before returning to the bedroom.
"Look who's up," He said as he sat down on the bed, "Did Hiroki wake you up too? Evil guy isn't he? We ain't gonna let him in our car right Miyu-chan, right?" Ryo happily baby talked at the little girl.
Chuckling a little at what Ryo said, Hiroki waved a little at Miyuki before grabbing the hem of Ryo's pants to pull at them slightly.
"Move back here~," the younger of the two parents whined and once Ryo had done as he was told and was once again laying down, they suddenly had their (about a year and a half years old) daughter laying between them.
"Good morning princess~"
Smiling down at the girl, Ryo tickled the her gently, his own smile only widening at her soft giggles.
"You know," He mumbled, unable to look up from the little bundle of joy.
"We might want to move at some point..." He continued, still looking down at the girl that giggled happily in between her parents. "...So that the little princess can get her own room and all..."
At that, there was no way that Hiroki could keep himself from looking at the older one. With surprised eyes he looked at Ryo and then quickly leaned over Miyuki to place a kiss on the older one's cheek.
"I agree," he whispered in reply and nodded a little before he again turned his attention to Miyuki. "You think so too don't you~?" In reply he only got a giggle followed by 'papa' and some more words that were yet too slurred together for them to be comprehendable.
Looking up at Hiroki with a wide smile on his face as Miyuki uttered out some more words, the older guy nodded once before leaning a bit over Miyuki.
"Kiss~?" Ryo mumbled, reaching to take Hiroki's hand into his. What? No, he wasn't satisfied with only a kiss on a cheek, not this time.. or any other time probably. The little princess wouldn't mind either.
In front of their daughter?! Hiroki couldn't help but feel embarrassed right now. They had hugged and kissed in front of Miyuki before but every single time he'd felt awfully embarrassed... The face Ryo was making though, the look in his eyes and the tone in his voice, it made it impossible for Hiroki to say no and thus he leaned in to press his lips against Ryo's. He loved this really, it was... it was really... awesome.
Lips curving into a smile as he felt Hiroki's lips against his, Ryo deepened the kiss just slightly. The little girl mumbled something that he didn't quite understand, the tiredness was still there and his eyelids felt heavy but somehow the moment was just perfect. One of those moments you wouldn't mind living in forever. Without opening his eyes as the kiss broke, Ryo leaned forward again, resting his forehead against Hiroki's tiredly.
Smiling a little bit, Hiroki hummed as he felt how Ryo supported his head against his. This was a nice moment though, it was really nice and a part of him didn't want to interrupt it at all, but at the same time he realized that if Ryo would be any fun to hang out with later (at least we'd pretend that's the reason, in general Hiroki was just worried about his health), the older one would have to sleep some more.
"Sleep some more?," he thus whispered softly and blinked a little as he glanced down at Miyuki. "You need it you know..."
Humming lowly in response, Ryo let himself lay back down on the bed. He didn't want to sleep though, since both Miyuki and Hiroki were awake. Though he knew he should, for both his own and his family's sake, a tired Ryo wasn't very much fun to be around with after all. Holding on to Hiroki's hand over the little girl that lay between them, Ryo closed his eyes as he snuggled closer to their daughter.
"You don't have to go do you?" He mumbled sleepily.
Hiroki chuckled in reply then as he too laid down and looked at his husband quickly before glancing down at Miyuki.
"Can stay until you've fallen asleep," he answered then and nodded as he held on to Ryo's hand a bit tighter. "But then we'll be hungry so we'll go and get something to eat... and shower and stuff~"
As he heard what Hiroki said, Ryo pouted at the younger one. Wasn't that just unfair?
"You're supposed to say you'll stay with me forever, you know?" He corrected the younger one before a yawn escaped him and he decided to give up. Sleep sounded really good right now, and hopefully he'd have something to eat once he felt rested enough to get up.
Ryo was so cute sometimes, Hiroki thought then and he let go of Ryo's hand so he could remove some of Ryo's bangs from his face.
"Forever and ever and even beyond that," Hiroki replied lowly as he saw how Ryo closed his eyes and thus he instead turned his attention to Miyuki who was silent while she was looking at something - possibly the lamp.
"Right Miichan?," he asked in a low voice as he lowered his head a little bit so he could kiss her. "Forever and ever right?"
Smiling as he heard Hiroki talk, Ryo pulled the covers up sligtly as he searched for a comfortable position.
"You better." He mumbled as he turned around a couple of times before settling with lying on his stomach.
"If not then this ring would be pointless," the younger one replied in a low voice before he tickled Miyuki a little bit. Of course he wasn't so naive as to think that everyone who married would be happy forever. Some people got divorced after all, but that would never happen to him and Ryo, he was sure of it.
Ryo only hummed as a reply to Hiroki. The younger one was right though, it was silly to even think that they would part their ways at some point, though pairs seemed to break up more often than stay together these times. But would he not think of himself and Hiroki as one of those lucky couples that did indeed stay together forever, he wouldn't have bothered to build a family with the younger one, no. But they were a family, two happy fathers with their kid. Smiling at the thought as he started to drift asleep, Ryo gently put his arm around Miyuki, holding the tiny girl close.
