Comfortable Unsilence Title: Comfortable Unsilence Author: blue_siofra Rating: G Characters: Donna, Ten Beta:smirking_muse
Donna could talk for the rest of time if she could have lived that long. She probably could have had a Vogan running away in under ten minutes - no wait, they weren't real.
The Doctor smirked to himself at the thought of the Vogans filling out paperwork for their admittance to a mental facility - in triplicate, of course. Donna paid him no attention and kept on jabbering on about this and that. He wasn't sure what she was talking about and he had learned to ignore these stories she told in the hours they were in the vortex.
Donna knew he didn't pay attention to him when she talked about her life, and she didn't mind. She needed the background noise, having grown up with her mother. And it wasn't like she understood half of what he talked about half the time, so her life story it was. She had to admit, it was pretty cozy when they were in the vortex for awhile, hanging out in the control room with Spaceman, talking about nothing in particular. They got along well, and even the rare silences were comfortable between them. No wonder they had become best mates in the few months she's traveled with him. It was easy to imagine that this would stay this way for the rest of her existence.
