Title: Linda (1/1)
Characters: Sirus, James, Linda
Summary: Sirius has one true love.
Sirius walked down the dark, silent hallway and paused just outside a door. He grinned smugly to himself before unlocking the door and quietly slipping into the even darker room.
"Lumos." He whispered. The room became slightly brighter and there was a glint of light off a silvery metal.
Sirius walked over, and slowly the light put a motorbike into view. A few more charms and she'll be ready for her first flight. Sirius straddled the bike and put his hands on the handlebars. He took one hand off and slid it down the front of the bike to the edge of the seat. "Oh, just you wait Linda, soon it will be you, me and the open sky." He whispered to the motorbike.
He climbed off the bike and lit a fire in the fireplace, illuminating the rest of the room. Bookshelf dust dulled the glimmer of the golden titles on the books lining the walls.
The portrait of a thin, handsome looking woman with hazel eyes awoke with a grunt and left her frame in search of a darker place for slumber. Sirius didn't notice this as he was already engrossed in the motorbike, wand stuck in the belt loop on the side of his tight fitting jeans.
After walking around the bike a few times, caressing different parts like an attentive lover, he pulled his wand out and pointed it at the bike. It glowed a soft midnight blue for a moment and returns to normal. Sirius puts his wand back in his belt loop and gets back on.
I don't want to wake anybody, but I want to know what it feels like to ride it.
The bike rose into the air and within seconds, Sirius bumped his head against the ceiling of the room.
There was a thump from the room above him and some muffled cursing. A minute later, as Sirius glided back to the floor, there was thumping on the stairs and in burst a dark haired boy of about 16, trying to get his glasses on his face.
"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL WAS THAT?"
Sirius grinned. "Relax Prongs, I was just taking Linda for a test spin."
"AT TWO IN THE SHITTING MORNING?" James exclaimed confused at being awoken (again, he would like to add) rather rudely by his best friend at a rather stupid time.
"Couldn't sleep, Prongs. It's not like Evans is going to see you tomorrow anyway. It‘s summer holiday!" James blushed furiously, and mumbled incoherently something about leaving Moony, and Linda in the same room together next full moon, and stalked out of the room. Evidently going back to try and get some sleep.
Sirius gave Linda a pat on her seat and also went to bed. After all, tomorrow would be a very big day.
