how does your character look like? Alice is petite and pixie-like. She has short, spiky, black hair (which in typist's imagination often becomes red). She is also described to have large eyes and long, delicate eyebrows. Her moves are always graceful; she has a carriage that would "break any ballerina's heart", as described by Bella in Twilight.

does the character have supernatural/magical/preternatural powers? Yes. She is immortal; she sparkles in full daylight, which is totally uncool if you ask her typist; she has a special gift: she can 'foresee' the future, an enhanced version of her ability to have premonitions as a human - however, her ability is limited; she is only able to see the outcome of a decision once it is made - due to this, decisions made in the spur of the moment can not be foreseen; Alice can see futures involving humans and vampires, but is unable to see those of werewolves or half-breeds; that asides, she is 'one frightening little monster', possessing excellent fighting/tracking skills, great speed, great reactions, great reflexes and general badass-ery.

does your character have any ‘normal’ talents? Well she's good at shopping, driving fast cars and criticizing fashion.

describe your character’s personality Alice is bubbly, most of the times. She gets enthusiastic quite easily about the things she likes, mostly if she thinks she can make friends happy (i.e. whenever she prepares something for Bella, much to the latter's lack of joy). She's also a passionate tiny vampire, and she's not afraid to ask for what she wants (i.e. expensive cars).

If there's a center of Alice's life, and a constant within, that's Jasper, her soul mate and her husband. She's very protective of him and understands him the best; they seem to be able to communicate without words.

Determined, driven, and stubborn - that's Alice in the nutshell. She's fearless (i.e. going after Edward in New Moon, fighting the newborns, etc.), a very skilled fighter, and quite a charming person.

familiarize us with your character’s history Alice's early history is vague, as she remembers nothing about her human life. Eventually, we learn that she was born in 1901 in Biloxi (Mississippi) and was sent to an asylum by her parents because she had premonitions. Alice was transformed by an old vampire who worked at the asylum to protect her from James, a tracker vampire who was hunting her. After some research, Alice found her grave and discovered that the date on her tombstone matches the date of her admission to the asylum. Through her research she additionally discovered that she had a younger sister named Cynthia, and that Cynthia's daughter, Alice's niece, was still alive in Biloxi.

Alice foresaw Jasper Hale finding her in a vision before he even knew he was looking for her. They met face-to-face in a diner located in Philadelphia, when Jasper was not a "vegetarian" vampire, where she told him that she had been waiting a long time for his arrival. A little bewildered but intrigued with her knowing him, Jasper "bowed his head like a good southern gentleman" and answered, "I'm sorry, ma'am." She offered him her hand, a non-verbal question of whether or not he would like to go with her. He did indeed take her hand, as the sight of it brought him hope "for the first time in almost a century". During their companionship and travels, Alice and Jasper fell in love, and the pair subsequently began a life with the peaceful coven of the Cullen family.

Alice plays a supporting role in the books, basically befriending Bella, supporting and protecting her. She's also described as being very close to Edward, which means that she usually acts in the interest of these two, and in their common interest. Among the notable things she does during the series, there's Edward's rescue from Volterra - together with Bella, participating to the fight with the newborns in New Moon, and playing a crucial role in deterring the Volturi's idea of Rennesme being a child! vampire in Eclipse.

is there a job your character would like to apply for? Well she's a Founder. But she'll surely want a job sooner or later.
