community premise
Buffy Lives! was created to reignite the thrill of watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Series on t.v. every week. The purpose of the community is to bring Buffy and Angel fans to one place so that they can rewatch the shows together and relive the thrill and excitement that came from tuning in to see them every week.

how do i participate? Join the

buffylives asylum so that you can take part in community discussions and access the content that is posted here. You must also have access to the assigned weekly episode so that you can watch it with the community. The most common avenue will be to watch the series DVDs. If you do not own the DVDs, try checking at your local Blockbuster or video store to see if they carry them.

when will the weekly episode "air"? Tuesday. We will watch the new episode every week on Tuesday. Why Tuesday, you ask? Do you remember when Tuesday nights used to be "Buffy" nights? That's what we're going for here. Each week we'll have "another Tuesday night in Sunnydale" (and eventually Los Angeles).

what type of content can/will be posted here? Anything related to the current week's episode or any prior episode and anything BtVS/AtS related! The only content restriction is this: If we haven't watched a particular episode yet, please try and refrain from making a post about it. Pretend like you're watching the show on t.v. You can't talk about an episode you haven't seen, right? I'm not going to be a nazi about this or anything, it's more of a suggested guideline than anything.

what happens when buffy s3 ends? When we finish watching Buffy season 3, we will resume the next week by watching the first episode of season 4 and the first episode of Angel season 1. That means we'll be watching two episodes each week, one from each series. Just like we did when they were on the air (and still on the same network).

what happens when we finish both series entirely? Well, here's what I'm hoping will happen: The community will continue, only our focus will turn to the Buffy season 8 and Angel season 6 comics. We'll start from the first comic and read one comic from each series a week, seeing as how each comic is supposed to be an episode. The comics are supposedly published on a monthly basis. SO. At some point we will catch up with the comic series' publication schedule. Once we do that we will switch gears and start discussing episodes/issues on a monthly basis according to when they're released.

2. Don't talk down on other members or their opinions. You may dislike a certain character or episode that another person likes. You're obviously allowed to have a difference of opinion but don't be malicious or hurtful about it.
