3:56 am [ex_monkey200]	A post I figure someone should say something. Hi. My friends call me Monkey. I'm a loosely practicing Buddhist, which is to say that I practice daily but don't make it to sangha nearly as often as I like. I have persistent pagan tendencies, too. I'm a fan of Brad Warner's writing and the Bad Buddhist podcast. And now a question! The traditional Buddhist altar is a pretty formal affair. Coming from a neo pagan background, I tend to have more "freeform" altars that tend to grow on their own, with statues and candle holders and incense holders and whatever else feels right. I'm not going to ask if that's "right" because I hate it when people ask questions they don't want to know the answers to. :) But I was wondering-- I can't be the only one who does that, right? 7:28 pm [redheaded_dork]	Welcome to buddhism! I created this community because I noticed a lack of asylums/communities about Buddhism. I am not a Buddhist myself, but I hope this fact doesn't keep anyone from joining. My goal is to create a community for Buddhists and those interested in Buddhism to interact. I hope that we can do that. If any members have suggestions for interests, let me know and I'll add them. Also, if anyone who is actually Buddhist would like to help me moderate this community, let me know. (Comment on this)
