Neely and Rachelle had spent the better part of an hour in the shower (ahem), so it should come as no surprise that they were a liiiiittle late coming downstairs. Neely, herself, had decided to wear a snug pair of jeans and a white dress shirt, open to expose her beautiful cleavage, along with a loose plaid blue tie, absolutely GRINNING from ear-to-ear. Oh yeah. SOMEONE got laid.

She laughed at the first person she saw, "What? It's my birthday, bitch! I'm allowed to get me some nookie!" Ah, clearly Patience's' sparkling personality rubbed off a little on her there, huh?

Pat yelled into the kitchen, having been sitting on the sofa watching... the Super Mario Brothers movie. Call it a morbid curiosity. He knew he had enough money now that, if worse came to worse, he could help his sister find a small place or something. He just knew that the two women had barely had a chance to be introduced yet, due to his sister doing... god only knew what, and Patience being insistant on still working.

For an uber-confident, almost to the point of obnoxiousness, person-slash-demon like Paige Bennett, being nervous and antsy was NOT something she was used to. But she'd given up music a while back, both as a personal penance, and as a way of hoping she'd never turn into the massive bitch she used to be.

But when her new, unlikely BFF Darlene asked her to join her band, Intangible Now, as a personal favor, how could Paige refuse? She was trying to protect Darlene. And if part of that protection was making her happy with something so small, she couldn't deny it.

She'd given her favorite guitar away already, having told Lexi Wilson to give it to her protege, Stephanie. So she went out, and got herself two used guitars. One, a BC Rich  Virgin, was back at her place. As she sat onstage now at the Sugar Shack for open-mic night, she used the other, an acoustic Gibson Epiphone. She was getting herself back into form, and doing so by playing acoustic versions of a few old Hole songs.

For now, she'd just finished up playing her own version of "Malibu", her voice maybe not quite on the level of say, Skylar, Natalie, or Meeghan... but still servicable. She wore a pair of hip-hugging faded bluejeans, a red tanktop, unbuttoned a little to expose a bit of cleavage, and had her long black hair tied into a loose ponytail, a few stray strands hanging in her eyes.

Gunn wasn't sure what he was doing here, actually. He wasn't much of a metal guy, so music was out. It was a club ran by a family of werewolves, which, while he technically knew that they were on the side of good, still kind of weirded him out. Still, after a patrol of his neighborhood, it had turned out to be a quiet night (the first in ever) and, after everyone split off for the night, he decided to finally check out the club that Max had been telling him about. The story of her getting hit on by another girl was too funny to him.

So, after going up to the bar and getting himself a beer, he looked around. It was an all ages club, which meant that there were a lot of kids here trying to pretend that they were older. Yep, he stood out like a sore godddamn thumb. Always fun.
