One of the few places that Gabriel knew of to go to was Avarice, but he just couldn't stand the idea of facing a place like that. It was where Kayla worked, after all. So, once he knew that she was gone to work, he headed to the Hyperion to work out some frustration and aggression. He was actually spending his time on a punching bag right now, beating, as some would put it, the 'ever loving shit' out of it.

He had told Kayla that things would be OK, and that they could eventually work together and be friends again after a while, right now he didn't want to see her. He wasn't even using their regular training room at the moment.

Right now he was just hoping to work out until he passed out somewhere. Better than drinking himself into oblivion, he hoped.

Who: Mai, Selinda and Liz, then Mai and Liz
Where: Liz's Place
When: Saturday, October 9 - Late Afternoon

The return flight had to have been even longer and more tedious then the flight out in Mai's opinion, but at least she managed a bit of sleep, and Selinda it seemed was able to enjoy more then a couple hours sleeping in the seat beside her. Once the plane landed and they had collected their bags and a taxi had been waved down after the left the terminals, Mai, keeping their end destination secret from Selinda, gave the driver directions to Liz's place.

"You doing okay?" She asked looking over to her new Slayer once the cab pulled away from the airport.

Where: A Flat in London
When: 9 am London time. Saturday, October 9

The flight to London had been long and tedious, but even with the little bit of shut eye she had been able to catch, Mai wasn't exactly at her best when a taxi dropped her off in front of the flat Selinda Todd was sharing with her present Watcher. But the woman did her best to conceal that when she climbed the steps to the landing and rang the bell. Arrangements had been made prior to her arrival to the city of London, and Mai was hoping all would go smoothly. Pick up her new charge and catch a return flight back to the states with no one being the wiser to her real reason behind having requested a specific Slayer to be assigned to her.

When: Sunday, Late Afternoon - September 19
 
Mai, with a couple bruises and stitched up laceration on her face, lay motionless on the bed hooked up to a monitor that kept track of her vitals. The Watcher had been wheeled up and into a room after surgery to repair a tear in her spleen that was causing internal bleeding. Her injuries were a result of an auto accident she had become involved with during a second tremor that rocked the whole city. Having been filled with concern and worry about a certain blond doctor after experiencing the effects of the first earthquake of the day, Mai left her place that morning to drive to the hospital. A decision that led to traumatic consequences.

When: Wednesday Evening - September 8th

Mai had picked up Liz in her newly purchased yellow 1999 Mustang convertible. Their 'date' that had been scheduled for the previous Wednesday had, unfortunately, been cancelled due to work schedules and rescheduled for tonight.

Finding a spot near the entrance of the club Liz had given her directions to, Mai claimed the parking space and killed the engine. "Looks like the place is having a productive night." The dark haired Watcher commented to Liz before climbing out of the vehicle and running her hands over the short little black dress she wore that evening to smooth out the material.

When: Saturday Afternoon- August 28

Mai had shown up at the hospital inquiring about one Doctor Liz Todd. The woman had actually found a restaurant that served authentic English fare and was struck with a thought. Sure she hadn't quite gotten settled within the city, Mai had acquired an unfurnished loft and would be starting her job on Monday at the Natural History Museum as curator of the Anthropology Department. And what better way to celebrate it all then picking up lunch for her and the doctor. Besides, Mai was wanting to see the other woman again. They seemed to have sparked a friendship, but the Asian looking woman was wanting more. Had since she first met Elizabeth Todd. To Mai that was something worth pursuing at a slow pace.

When: Sunday Late Morning - August 22

Mai had managed to sleep almost the full during of her flight from London to Los Angeles, waking up on board the plane about fifteen minutes before the flight landed at the Los Angeles City airport. Everything had been prearranged by herself after being contacted by Rupert Giles. The flight, her temporary accommodations and rental car to use until she could get a slightly used one of her own for her stay in the City of Angels. Not having to meet with the head of the Watchers Council til evening, Mai was going to do the sensible thing and get herself something to eat after collecting her luggage and getting her car from the rental company. The woman hadn't had anything to eat since leaving England and was now just realizing how famished she was.


Since breaking up with Wesley and sending her sister to train in England (apparently they had a watcher more able to handle a special case like hers), Dr. Elizabeth Todd had been throwing herself more and more into her work.

After coming off yet another 20-hour shift at LAGH, the blonde sat n the diner, trying to drink enough black coffee to stay alert as she enjoyed her eggs and toast.
