New Archer in Town

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Gabriel and Ivy
When: Friday - January 15
Where: Ivy's Archery Place

Gabriel had been in LA for a few days, but had spent the majority of them settling into his new flat. He wanted to have everything right where it belonged before going out, so he had seen to it that it was before going out. Mr. Giles had given him the information on the Slayer that he was to see to as well, telling him that she didn't know anything about herself yet. He'd see to that soon enough, and hoped that she would believe him. That would make things easier.

Right now, though, what he wanted to do was get in some archery practice. He had found out that there was a place to do so, and, since it was a hobby of his, he wanted to get to know the place and see if it was good. He walked inside of the establishment, looking for the person who ran the place.

Training

[info]hard_knox
[info]btvsal
Who: Knox OT Max and Ivy
Where: The Bowman's Club
When: Saturday afternoon (November 14)

This was something Knox had been thinking about for a while now, but had never really had the time to follow through on. Right before the battle with the Slayers, he'd made a mental list of things he'd regret not doing if he didn't return. There hadn't been a lot on it. He'd regret not making it back to Chicago one last time. He'd regret not having been a better friend to those who needed it. And that was about it.

Too bad for Max, he was trying to make good on the latter. Baby steps, however. The first order of business was going to be knocking some of the cocky off her shoulders and getting her some proper training if it ever came down to having her in the heat of battle. No, it wasn't her strong suit and he cringed at the thought of the tiny Asian girl going up against a huge demon – that was the kind of thing those Anime freaks made porn about, right? – but that was just one more reason for her to be as well armed as possible. This was all a part of his devious plan to ensure her survival for as long as possible.

"Now we'll really get to see how good you are with the hand-eye coordination," he grinned, tugging on the back of her hair as he opened the door to The Bowman's Club and nudged her inside.

Long Time, No See

[info]btvsal
Who: Ivy and Gunn(OT Continuation)
When: Sunday, Early Evening, November 8
Where: The Bowman's Club

Ivy was just getting ready to close the archer's club for the night. Most who used the facility on Sundays had already cleared out and were most likely well on their way home by the time the dark haired owner starting making her rounds to make sure no stragglers lingered behind, though it always seemed that one or two managed to remain behind until they were ushered out into the night so the place could be locked up and Ivy could head upstairs to her loft to enjoy a long soak in a hot tub and a good book.

Having herded a lone straggler out and locked the front door Ivy had just turned to head toward the back of the place to extinguish the interior lights when a sudden knock on the glass panel of the front door had the owner turning around with a smile lighting her face when she spied a familiar face through the clear glass.

Gunn hadn’t had the chance to come and see Ivy yet, but he had certainly wanted to. Of course, getting away for more than thirty minutes took some finagling, but he had managed it for the night. When he arrived at The Bowman’s Club, he walked up to the front door and knocked, smiling back at her when she turned and looked at him. It had been way too long.
