Who: Bronte and Grant
Where: Their Hotel Suite
When: Late Morning - Sunday, June 13

Brenna had escaped the suite her parents had reserved for the weekend of the wedding. The teen had cousins that were also within the city for the same event, and what better way to see a city then with people her own age. After the girl had left Bronte ordered up room service for herself and Grant before she went to take a quick shower.

"Bronte?" Grant called out to her while she was rushing for her shower. He'd had a great time, but... sometimes? He liked to calm down and just be himself. Leave the goofiness and humor elsewhere. "Just wanted to tell you...with all due respect to the bride? You were the most beautiful thing THERE today. Kinda made me fall in love with you ALL over again."

With a reception like this... some hilarity was bound to occur.

[info]benjamin_bale
[info]btvsal
Who: Ben & Skylar, OT anyone at the wedding/reception, also open to multiple threads
Where: New Orleans
When: Immediately after the wedding

After the ceremony was over, and they had taken about eight fucking hundred pictures(!), they were finally ready to make their grand entrance into the reception hall. "I better get something to eat," Skylar muttered. She had heard from her mother that the bride rarely got to eat at her own wedding. "This pregnant woman will stomp someone's ass if they drag me away from my plate of food for another picture."

"Shush, baby..." Ben snickered and raised that eyebrow again. "You'll get to eat. Even if we have to have David knock people out to get you to the food." He smirked though... as one of HIS ideas began... it was time to walk in. After Brandie and the groomsmen and bridesmaids walked in.... "#1" by Nelly started to play. Because really... for what a cocky shit Ben was? FITTING. "I think that means us..."

Skylar just rolled her eyes when the song started to play. "Nelly? Really?" she asked. "Alright, let's head out." Hell, she'd gotten a normal song during the wedding. She was happy.

Surprise!

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Brenna and Grant
Where: Full Moon Records
When: June 4th - Morning

She would have thought sneaking into Full Moon Records would have been a more difficult task then it actually had been for Brenna, but the teen managed quite well, and did actually arrive at the record company before her father. It had taken a flip of a coin to decide which parent the girl would pay a visit to first. As luck would have it Grant won the toss, which was why Brenna was at the record company at the moment and not at the beach house her mother resided in in this present time period.

Seated in the chair behind Grant's desk, with it turned facing away from the door, Brenna looked out the office window while she waited for her father to arrive.

Saying goodbye is the hardest thing to do

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Brenna, Bronte and Grant
Where: Kellerman House
When: May 14, 2019

Brenna stalked into the living room of her parents home to through herself down with an audible huff into an overstuffed chair near the fireplace. Being called into a family meeting was nothing new to the teen as whenever something of importance or planning came up a family meeting, normally called a "campfire" by her father, was called so the entire family could discuss or debate things. The only difference this time from meetings past was that Brenna knew what the topic of the hour was. She had previously voiced her opinion about the whole matter, but her opinion seemed to fall on deaf ears as her folks seemed to override any option she offered. Now with an official "campfire" being called Brenna felt there was little she could say that would sway her parents way of thinking, but that didn't mean the teen planned on giving in without a major fight. When she got something into her head Brenna was like a dog with a bone that they refuse to relinquish to anyone.

Grant found himself briefly cursing the fact that his daughter was as bullheaded as her mother. He also found himself cursing the fact that they'd allowed the girl to somehow find out what was going on before they could officially talk to her about it. Basically? He was cursing. A lot. When Brenna came walking in, rather than his usual, 'awshucks sweet' greeting he'd usually give her, like "grab a seat by the fire" or something equally cheesy, he just looked at her with a steely gaze. "We're gonna talk about this... but you're going, and we will NOT debate this."

Visiting the City of Sin

[info]grant_kellerman
[info]btvsal
Who: Grant, OT Bronte
Where: Avarice 2.0, Las Vegas
When: Wednesday evening

Well hot DAMN! The first thing Grant thought to himself as he entered Vegas was: "this is like someone took Avarice and turned it into an entire CITY". He'd come to surprise Bronte at the nearly-completed new Avarice, being prepared to open here, of all places. After getting distracted by about three different casinos, he finally managed to make it to the still-unopened club, being let in only after showing his credentials as an employee of Full Moon Records.

Wearing a beige suit, with the collar of the white shirt unbuttons and the tie loosened, he let loose a low, impressed whistle as he walked in, taking a look at the place. It was every bit as impressive as it's 'parent', merely in different ways. Spotting the woman he'd come to see seemingly inspecting something beneath the bar, he smirked and looked down at her kneeling on the floor.

"How sweet! It's like you were expecting me!"

Bring Your Parents To Fun Night

[info]benjamin_bale
[info]btvsal
Who: Ben, OT anyone
Where: Avarice
When: Monday, March 8th
What: Much like the hair-metal thread... it's just some goofy fun. To once again quote Chapelle's Show: It's a celebration, bitches... enjoy yourselves.

Benjamin Bale occasionally had some... rather odd ideas for themed nights at Avarice. One of his finer moments had been 80s Hair Metal Night. Well... this one? Had the potential to be as memorable, but possibly for horrific reasons altogether.

Yes, tonight was Bring Your Parents Night at Avarice. Any teen that brought at least one parent to to the club would be entitled to free drinks for the evening. Why this odd choice of themes?

Well. First and foremost, Ben loved people's money. And if he could find a way to bring MORE people into Avarice by showing parents that they COULD hang there without seeming skeevy, and show kids that their parents could hang there and not have to slice their coolness factor in half... bingo. More customers.

Then of course... there was the primary reason for this. The humor. Ben knew that everyone around here had been through a LOT lately, and sometimes, nothing helped more than some laughter, and good memories. And really: other than seeing people reliving the glory days of Poison and Winger (actually, did Winger HAVE glory days?), what could be funnier than watching the kids that normally swagger through the club with Ben-level cockiness looking freaked out and having a wiggins because their parents were there either being the world's funniest cockblocks, or god forbid, getting their OWN groove things going?

Oh, hell yes. This had so much hilarious potential that Ben couldn't resist. Even if it DID put him in the same vicinity as the parents of roughly half of the girls he'd tried to bed in the last year.

Needing to vent

[info]grant_kellerman
[info]btvsal
Who: Grant, OT Bronte
Where: Bronte's house
When: Friday afternoon

Normally, Grant was a pretty happy-go-lucky guy. He loved his job as Benjamin Bale's advisor, and now had a lovely girlfriend as well. But some days? He wanted to scream. Like today. So what did he do when he was at his wits end?

Obviously... go to see the most calm, levelheaded person he knew. Standing outside Bronte's front door, he smirked and rang the doorbell, waiting to see her.

Why Should I Hire You?

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Shiloh and Grant(Open to Continuation)
Where: Grant's Office
When: Late Morning - January 21

Shiloh was following through on a lead for a prospective job she had been given. In fact it was the same day that Baily had given her the job lead that the blonde placed a call to one Grant Kellerman and had lucked out on getting an interview with the man. So it was here in the outer area of the man's office that Shiloh sat with her compiled resume' waiting for chance to have an audience with the man who hopefully would be impressed enough with her resume' that he'd take a chance in hiring her.

"Ok... so...." Grant cleared his throat as he walked out of his office, looking at a piece of paper in his hand. The young woman he'd just interviewed walked out, all business-casual and looking seemingly bereft of a sense of humor. "See who's next here... Ms. Stonestreet? Shiloh Stonestreet?" He folded the paper and looked out, seeing that she was the only one left there. He gave a sheepish grin and rolled his eyes. "Sorry about that. Guessing you're her?"

[info]grant_kellerman
[info]btvsal
Who: Grant, OT Bronte and possibly Bethany
Where: Grant's house
When: New Year's Eve (backdated)

This was, to Grant, pretty much made of AWESOME. It was New Year's Eve, and all seemed great. Thanks to a few great deals he'd made with some advertisers, sponsors, and talent for Ben's label, the man was pulling in some major bank right now... add to that the fact that he had his crazy-hot girlfriend at his place for the evening, and seriously, it'd take a LOT of get him off his cloud tonight.

He'd called and ordered some Chinese food for them (and for Bethany, who Grant had told Bronte she could bring along. The girl was sweet, and they got along well enough) as was his usual New Year's Eve tradition, as well as having several types of drinks (and plenty of soda for Bethany) in the kitchen.

"So..." he said, grinning at Bronte with a wink. "Enjoying your stay at Casa de Grant?"

A Very Bale Christmas

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: The Bale clan and their SOs
Where: Bronte's Beach House
When: Thursday Afternoon(around 3) - December 24

Like was typical of most men when the holiday came around, Grant was sacked out on the couch in the living room while the women, in this instant Bronte and Bethany, were in the kitchen preparing the Christmas Eve meal. Bethany had been put in charge, or rather had claimed the honor of making mashed potatoes from scratch and batches and batches of cookies to be served as part of the dessert coarse. Bronte already had the traditional Christmas ham in the oven and was busy preparing a broccali casserole for baking. Dinner for the Bale family had been planned for four that afternoon, but the scheduled time had never prevented the invited from showing up early, and Bronte had a feeling that by the time the clock hit the stroke of four the beach house would already have been filled with the Bale family and their significant others.

I do know how to be a gentleman

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Bronte and Grant(Open to Continuation)
Where: Grant's Place
When: Sunday Evening - 8 pmish(December 6)

Well...this was it. Grant's big chance. To say he was stressing about this was a vast understatement. But he'd tried. He'd even asked advice from the guy that he knew had more experience wooing women than anyone he knew: Ben. But he felt ready. He'd set everything up and now was just waiting for Bronte to arrive. Pacing back and forth a little in his gray pinstriped suit (sans tie), he tried not to fret.

Bronte pulled the Corvette up alongside the curb in front of Grant's place and killed the engine. Exiting the vehicle, Bronte dressed in a black and gold short dress with black tights and a pair of black low heel shoes, made her way slowly up to the guy's door and knocked to announce her presence. Bronte had no idea just how casual or formal an evening Grant had planned out for them which had been why the blonde had chose to go the somewhat dressy path. She figured she couldn't be over-dressed or under- dressed for the occasion in the dress she had chosen to wear for tonight's date.

I really think we could have something special here

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Grant and Bronte
Where: Avarice
When: Saturday evening - December 5

This, to Grant, was the primary pitfall of his job. While Ben paid him FANTASTICALLY to be his financial advisor and part-time talent scout, it also caused him to occasionally be so busy he barely had enough time to eat three meals a day, much less make time to call people. When he finally forced himself to take a much-needed respite, the first thing he did was rush to Avarice, where he knew Bronte would be working. Sure enough, he saw her behind the bar, and walked there trying not to let his frustration show.

"Hey pretty lady... Sorry I've been AWOL the last week or so... I've been trying so far unsuccessfully to stop your baby brother from making a mistake that could end up costing him assloads of money.". Oh, yes. He needed to convince Ben that signing Darlene in ANY way was a bad, bad idea.

"What can I get you?" Bronte asked as if Grant were just another patron who had come in to do a bit of drinking that evening. If he had been expecting Bronte to be all smiles at seeing him after a week of absolutely no contact the guy was in for a little bit of a surprise.

Trying again

[info]grant_kellerman
[info]btvsal
Who: Grant, OT Bronte
Where: Insane Lanes Bowling Alley
When: Monday night

While at first glance, Grant Kellerman looked like a stuffy, shirt-and-tie-guy, he was a big kid at heart, and loved to have fun. So when he heard what had happened to his business partner, Benjamin Bale, well... considering how much he adored Ben's sister Bronte, he knew he had to do something to get the girl's mind off of her brother for a while.

And when you're a big kid like Grant was, and you need a distraction, where do you go?

DAMN RIGHT. A huge-ass bowling alley, with a built-in arcade.

Clad in a brown suit with a shockingly pink tie, he took his younger date's hand, practically pulling her in after him.

"C'mon, Bronte. Seriously, you're gonna LOVE it here. Besides, you'll get to see my mad electronic hoops skills. Women have been known to faint in the presence of my sheer awesomeness."

First-date-inappropriate behavior

[info]alternate_girls
[info]btvsal
Who: Bronte and Grant
Where: Outside Bronte's Beach house
When: Wednesday Evening(October 28)

Bronte, still dressed in a short, black strapless dress, stood barefoot on the beach, heeled shoes gripped within one hand as a wave rolled in to caress over her feet and then roll back out into the vast, wide ocean from which it had come. The evening had gone better then she had anticipated. The unofficial opening of her friend, Edmund Blackstone, had gone quite smoothly with no apparent incidents that would tarnish the restaurant or the man's good reputation. And her date for the evening, her escort actually as that was how Grant Kellerman was seen in the eyes of the blonde when things had first started out that night, well that hadn't gone the way Bronte had thought, or hoped. She had found herself actually enjoying the man's company as he proved to be quite well behaved in the social setting of high society. In fact since the evening was still relatively young with the time just passing ten, Bronte had extended an invitation to the man to escort her back to her beach house so a few more moments could be shared with each other.

Saying Grant expected the evening to go this well would have been a lie. By this time, he'd fully expected the younger blonde to have sent him on his way. So imagine his surprise when the girl seemed to be actually enjoying herself! As they walked along the beach, the financial whiz couldn't help but smirk as he let his hand fall inches from hers, just to gauge how she would react.

"I must say I'm happy... I figured by now you'd have had one of your family's many 'contacts' have me 'taken care of'..."

Blind date?

[info]grant_kellerman
[info]btvsal
Who: Grant, open to Bretton and Bronte
Where: Avarice
When: Tuesday night

Christ, this place made Grant feel old. Now, he was only 35, but being in a blazingly busy rock club, with teens swaying and jumping all over the place? Made him feel ancient. But he had recently been hired by Benjamin Bale to be his financial advisor and part talent scout for Full Moon Records, and he needed to start hearing some of the local talent.

Oh yeah. There was also the small fact that Bretton had asked him here to meet his sister Bronte. The 'hot blonde number', as Grant put it, that he'd seen in a photo on Bretton's desk.

Standing by the bar, wearing a black leather jacket over a black shirt and tie and matching slacks, the older man looked over at Bretton and grimaced.

"You're sure she's coming, right?"
