The Back To School Dance
Who: All Reagan High students and their dates
Where: Reagan High's Gymnasium
When: Backdated to Saturday night

Eve though he was technically only a few months older than some of the seniors, Ash still felt a little weird going back to his old school, even for a dance. Yet, he'd promised to bring Lucy to it, and just having her on his arm made him feel a lot better about it. He'd compromised a bit with her on his wardrobe, still wearing all black, but in the form of an immaculate Armani pinstriped suit and tie ensemble, that if not for his slightly shaggy hair would make him look almost like some sort of businessman.

He walked in with the petite blonde on his arm, leaning over to sweetly kiss her on the cheek.

"So... you said we're meeting some people here?"

	She wasn't sure how long they had been dancing, but that didn't matter. Nothing seemed to at that moment. Janie looked up at Xander, smiling, about to say something to him. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	She stood on her toes, and kissed Xander on the lips. She wasn't sure if it was allowed at a school dance or not, but it was something that she wanted. Tonight was really- well, the best night she could ever remember. And then, she was no longer there. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Xander had closed his eyes when Janie kissed him, and kept them closed when she broke contact.

"I just wanted to say," he said, "I think you're pretty fabulous, and I'm really, really glad I met you. You're the best, babe."

He opened his eyes.

He was alone.

Except, of course, for the two skinny Freshman girls who were looking at him strangely.

Xander looked around and ... nope, no Janie.

"Hey," he said, "you two didn't just see a girl disappear, did you?"

"Two of 'em," one said, and they turned and walked away, giggling.

"I so don't miss high school," Xander muttered, and headed for the exit.
