This asylum is dedicated to the science fiction television show Battlestar Galactica, currently airing (in the U.S.) on the Sci-Fi Channel. While content will be mostly focused on the re-imagined series (BSG 2003), discussion of the original series is perfectly acceptable as well.
First and foremost, cut your spoilers. Current spoiler cut-off is the second half of Season Three. Any plot points and revelations revealed post Episode 3x11, as well as news, plot points, and speculation about Season Four should be placed under an LJ-cut.
Please cut large images. Anything over 600px in width is no friend to people's friends page layouts. Be considerate and we'll all thank you for it!
Post constructively. We'd like to limit the number of "BATTLESTAR GALACTICA PWNS" and "ZOMG JAMIE BAMBER IS HOTTT!!!" and "LEE/STARBUCK 4 EVAH" posts. And by limit I mean eliminate completely :D Theories, episode discussion, actor discussion, photographs, screencaps, and graphics are all permitted. One-liners (that are not specific questions) are not.
Note that fan-fiction is not permitted. It's not that we don't love fanfic, but that's what bsg_fic is for.
