Cylon Business Is Serious Business
Alright guys.

There's serious geek cred on the line here. We need to stake a claim and lay out, before the spoilers come out and last season gets started in April, our... PICKS FOR FINAL CYLONICITUDE!!

I wanna hear who you think the Final Cylon will be, and why. If April rolls around, and it turns out your pick is the winner, all you have to do is point to your comment on this post, and we'll be forced to organize a fantastic parade in your honour! And, more importantly, you will have eternal bragging rights.


I'm backing TEAM DUALLA for Final Cylonicity. I have many points to support my assertion! LET ME SHOW YOU THEM (IN SUAVE BULLET FORM!):

• In Valley of Darkness, she was the only person in the bathroom who wasn't killed by the tin Cylons. Seriously, stuck in a small room being shot at by killing machines and all she gets is a concussion? No way. They missed on purpose, like all the times Chief has stood up in front of them and not been shot. Just like that.
  
• Cylon Chief thought she'd look after his robobaby Nick if he and Cally died. (Cally said 'No! No pilots!' in response, objecting to Lee. I believe this was classic misdirection)
  
• Her first name, Anastasia, means 'ressurection' in Greek. Much like that Cain's Cylon girlfriend's name did in uh... what was it? Gemininesinon? Whatever, there's parallel.
  
• She plays well with the other Final Cylons. SEE: ELECTION CHEATING SCHEME, THE
  
• In the episodes with the Temple of Five where she had to rescue Starbuck, she's pinned down by Cylon fire, there's no way to Starbuck, her team is dead and she runs off... without her gun! I thought OH SNAP DEE, BEEN NICE KNOWING YOU, but sure enough, next time I see her, she's slapping the grin off Starbuck's face, safe and sound. Total Cylon.
