This is the stuff I use to do my nails with! And even clumsy as I am, it comes out great. My nails are short so I do the cut-in-half trick in the tutorial for double the manicure for the money, and I can find Sally Hansen Salon Effects online for half what they cost at Walgreens. I've tried some cheap knock-off brands with weak results, but Nail Fraud is also excellent and comes in a neat black and silver houndstooth. |

Had my hands full the last couple of days, so I'm just now getting around to stuff I planned to do days ago. Like replacing the graphic from that homophobia quote by Morgan Freeman, that wasn't by Morgan Freeman at all, just some person who likes to tweet under the name Bruce Almighty. :::rolls eyes::: Some people got no respect. Anyway, I'll get around to it eventually. In the meantime, I finally got another chapter of Xandercles out of the way, and for once, I accomplished everything I intended to get across in this chapter. Yeah, that's right. I rock.

The idea for the tale of Clem and his cousins in Las Vegas came from the comic book: In Perfect Harmony, in which Clem states that his type of demon doesn't kill since they live off emotions, in particular: embarrassment. This has led many of his kind to walk around naked.

| International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia |

Okay, I'm late, I should have posted this early yesterday, but it's just 12:01am, so I guess I almost made it before May 17 was over. Anyway...
I used to have a bumper sticker on my car that said: Homophobia is a Social Disease. I got a number of notes under the windshield about that sticker, but surprisingly they were all positive. My favorite said something to the effect that it was a good thing for my car's health that most homophobes were also illiterate. Bwah hah hah hah hah. I loved that so much I got it framed. It was just a tiny little slip of pink paper, but it looked good hanging on my wall.
I was thrilled to see this on my Facebook timeline today. I like Morgan Freeman, so to find out that his opinion on this subject very closely resembles mine made my day.

In case you hadn't heard (where the hell have you been?), May is Masturbation Month. I'm not writing for  mmom this year, but I felt the need to write at least one masturbation fic before the month was over. There may be more, who knows. But don't worry, I've got this week's Xandercles partially written already, so I'll be back to that this week. Sorry for the break, but I wanted this post to be kind of special, and I thought a complete fic fit the bill better than one more part of a very long WIP.
Why, you may ask, did I want this to be a special post? Good question! It's my 1,000th post at Live Journal. Damn! I think that's worth celebrating, don't you? So here we are, celebrating. Whee!
