i can't wait for the game tomorrow.

i'm definitely starting to think trying out for the team was one of the best things i've done. i'm finally feeling like things are starting to be how they're supposed to be.
also, i can't wait to see how our little experiment turns out. we've done a test run and i know exactly what to do come early in the morning. |

If you had a choice between a wand that was powerful but sometimes a little more clumsy, and a wand that was very very good at subtleties but not quite as powerful, which would you pick for using every day?
Would you pick differently if you thought you could learn to make up for one or the other (because you're better at either power or subtleties) and have a larger ranger of strengths?
Or would you rather use a wand that innately matches you most exactly?
I'm just curious what other people think?

The Three Broomsticks have booked Usher's Well for five pre-Christmas gigs and there are more requests coming in from other venues. Yet another reason to enjoy the holiday season. I know many feel Christmas fatigue, but this is always one of my favourite times of year - there's egg-nog, mistletoe, carols, Christmas trees and Dad's tradition of going out at midnight on Christmas Eve to wassail the old oak tree. Good stuff.

Why did someone have to leave their copy of Witch Weekly out and why did it have to have an article out about this stuff? It's a sign, right?

Thursdays are study days. Who wants to play wand tag after it though? I'm in the mood for doing something to get out some energy and I haven't played a rousing game of tag in forever. Anyone regardless of house or year is welcome. Obviously, we'll finish up before curfew.
Also I don't know who left their Witch Weekly out in the Common Room but I borrowed it. I was reading an article on how to get back with your boyfriend in a healthy way global warming and I didn't get a chance to properly finish it. I'll put it back when I'm done. |

Finally caught up with the classes I missed, Charms was something of a challenge (but when isn't it?).
Christmas is less than a month away now and I haven't really thought about presents. This isn't like me
The art discussion was very interesting. Art is very subjective, no matter what the artist might have originally meant to envoke in the viewer, reactions are never predictable - especially to the more modern styles of art. But that's what I like about it, no one is ever really wrong in their assessment of the piece.

Hanukkah starts in less than a month, I should probably at least attempt to think about what I'm giving my sister and my parents. I hate the holidays, and I hate shopping. And I'm thinking about this far too early this year.

Are we still on for the study session tomorrow night? It's weird but I'm kind of looking forward to it because I think it's going to be a nice break before the game. I love Quidditch but I always feel so tense right before a game. I'm not scared though or anything. And I'm glad that the game is against Ravenclaw. I like it when I play against my friends, it's less scary for some reason. I hadn't meant to say this much so I think I'm going to shut up now..

Should be so tyrannous and rough in proof!
I don't know if love really is tyrannous and rough but I think it's really hard to love somebody a lot (like FAMILY love, not romantic love, but maybe that too) because you want them never to have anything bad happen, and you worry a lot because of that.
But I'm not worried too mu ANYMORE, so don't worry about me! I know all of my lines for being Benvolio in the play and I'm so excited for it!! My mum is coming and my stepdad and maybe my dad too. And I HOPE my brothers will come.
I'm so glad it's less than a month now until holidays!! And I'm GOING to go to the Christmas dance and it's going to have to be extra fun because I missed the Halloween one. So if anybody wants to ask me they should a |

I'm proud to say that I already have most, if not all of the Christmas gifts I plan on giving this year mapped out. I've still got to go about getting a hold of some of them, though I've begun to order some things. It's such a relief to have it started already, though!
Unfortunately, I found our Professor Warrington snowman knocked down today, Juliana. Oh, well, I suppose it wasn't meant to last. At least I was able to retrieve my hat, though. |

I'm glad to have missed the sneezing sickness going around. I must have one hell of an immune system... because even with all of the people and professor's sneezing around me, I have still managed to not contract it. Which is good, honestly, I don't think I could miss a class right now. Things have been a little slow in some, but NEWTs are getting closer and closer and I need to get prepared...
I was looking at a calendar recently, next Hogsmeade trip, I will have to get all of my Christmas shopping done... I should write down ideas -- I will gladly take suggestions, oh cousins of mine... |
