Listen, don't listen to your mum. You know she's got real irrational hatred for non-meateaters even if she is a bloody hypocrite and would die before eating pork. Your friends aren't weird, they're all special and wonderful in their own way. We've all got something special deep inside us and it's beautiful.

And if this VegGirl (can't get her real name out of your mum you know how it is) has any questions about being vegetarian or vegan or whichever she is (again, can't get it out of your mum - pretty sure she thinks vegans are just vegetarians who don't eat meat more or something like that), she can ask me about it.
