Sirius Black pt 2 Personality information and character traits. Despite the bratty attitude he had as a child, Sirius is generally happy-go-lucky. He may have grown out of his arrogance a bit, but it would only be noticeable to people who had been around him long enough. Sirius is a prankster and would go to nearly any lengths, no matter how dangerous, to get laughs and praise. He loves the spotlight, feeling the best when attention is centered solely on himself, and has a natural charisma that attracts multitudes of people. He is passionately loyal and affectionate with those he cares about and will do anything for someone he considers a good friend.
On the flip side, Sirius is horribly prideful and his family's arrogance hasn't been completely erased. He has a hot-temper and will almost never back down from a fight as long as he's defending something he believes is right. He's the type that, if he doesn't like someone, they and everyone within three hundred miles will know it. He never thinks things through, preferring the 'look after you leap' approach rather than the logical one which more often than not gets him into trouble. Sirius also has trouble connecting with most people. The Black madness touched him without a doubt and he'll put on a cheery face and soak in the limelight, but the truth is he has a very hard time trusting people. The only ones he can be sure will never stab him in the back are James and Remus, leaving everyone else just shy of really getting close to him.
First person: McGoogles is going to have our heads. I’m surprised I can’t hear her screams from here in the Tower.
Honestly though, it was WORTH it (I don’t care what Moony says, that charm on their food will go down in HISTORY). Not only did it turn them alternating colours of scarlet and gold, but they were singing. SINGING. I don’t exactly know what though… James took care of that part; some muggle song his mum is always singing though I cant be bothered to remember who sang it. American pop stars are always too alike to tell apart, you know. Crazy Yanks.
Slughorn looked a bit ruffled when he couldn’t get his house to shut up long enough to put all of the attention back on himself, but laughed it off with that fake grin on his fat face. Best. Class. Ever.
MOVING ON. I’m thinking about buying one of those motorbikes all those muggles seem so keen on. James thinks it’s a wicked idea but that I’m mental for being serious about getting one. I think I might make it fly-- I mean, really fly. It wouldn’t be that hard, I think. It might have to wait a while seeing as I’m not exactly legal yet. Besides, James said I could store it at his place if I went through with it and I don’t really need the Potters being swooped down on because of me either. But, really, just think about it! The One and Only Flying Motorbike! The Ministry would have a bloody field day.
I’m getting tingles just thinking about it. Might need to get that checked on. I’m sure it can’t be normal. Though, maybe it was that thing I ate yesterday. Moony could’ve been right when he said I shouldn’t eat anything I find under a log.
