I step away from this journal for a few months and everyone is trying to hi-jack threads on here. It is from the younger generation as well, so I am updating the profile on here because it seemed dead. I might not update this community often but I do watch the thing. I've been keeping busy because I just got published with a magazine and been trying to secure a few book signings with Reality Check. Things will be busy with me on the writing life, but I am going to do what I can to get the word out about this community. I am strict with some of the rules on here so please show some respect to them even though you might not agree with them. I noticed there is one on here watching the community I encourage a few watching the community to post every now and then.
As far as the writing goes check out the personal journal for updates on that -- I got asked to write an exclusive for Dark Walls.com and will be writing one for The House of Pain. I am also looking forward to seeing the small press magazine that published a short story of mine. I was quite surprized at the one they published but it is one that I know will be well-recieved. I showed this entry to the webmistress of a Gothic Christian website and she liked it. So I am getting asked of where the short story is going to be at -- look for it on the anniversary issue of The Writers Post Journal.

Welcome to this newly formed community,  I did this for those who were born in 1976.  More or less as a curiousity for me because I saw a lot of people with blogs that are much younger than me.  And there is a curiousity there for how many who in my age bracket actually did something that they will remember when they get older -- either they became a writer, artist, musician or a journalist.  I am going to put the ground rules for the community up as well for those who want to know what they are as many communities within the LiveJournal format will have.  I won't have that many rules but I will say something when posting -- keep things work safe as possible.
I hope some of you in here would put this community to good use. Especially if you are an author and have a book out there -- if you are self-published,  I especially encourage you to post information on your book.  No alternative romance please.  I am still trying to get this community off the ground so please excuse all the dust.  Not that many members yet so this is going to be the first post. This community is here for those who are especially on AuthorsDen, FictionPress,  Dairy-XDeviantart,  or a personal website.  I encourage those who have their own websites outside of what they have on here to promote their site -- if they have a banner they can promote it here.  If you are a writer who've been published via a pay by exposure website -- don't be shy to post the link where you got it up at.

Some Ground Rules )
