I recently finished reading Umberto Eco's The Name of The Rose. I've got a copy of the movie adaptation and have watched it several times. This was my first time to read the novel.
I was floored by how rich the text is. There are so many layers to this story that I hated to return the book to the library. I half want to re-read it because I feel as if I missed somethings during the debate and again with the trial.
My current knitting has been gauge swatches, a shrug, and I am working on a pair of throws as presents. I need to resist the temptation to cast on another project. I have yarn that is calling to me. It wants to be a shawl. LOL
In other news, I put some back issues of knitting periodicals up for sale on fandom_knits. They're all new magazines that need a home, preferably not mine. :p
