Plot Post!
At midnight on Sunday (July 12th), the Volcano on the island is going to erupt. Leading up to the eruption there will be smoke spewing from the mountaintop, and a series of earthquakes. The lava will go into the ocean, but a rain of smoke and ash will land on the inhabited side of the island. Some things will catch fire, some things will end up covered in ash. The freshwater stream in the middle of the island will still be drinkable, and there will still be flora and fauna for food.
The worst part about it is, when the island starts erupting, all the inhabitants of the island will lose their magical powers. That's right, friends, no more magic. The journals will still work, and any potions that have already been made will work, but wands carry no effect.
