Plot Post, Weeks 15 & 16

Week 15 & 16 - Plot Post estimated timeframe 11 may - 24 may    Mod availability; • I am not available for RP till after the 25th because stuff is kinda SPLEUGH right now. • I will be on AIM when I can, but the safest way to contact me is via email. Mod Goals for May; • Work on Hogsmeade/Diagon shop descriptions • Set up Blurred_Lines spell post    - canon spell list + specifications determined in game    - game canon spell list (take suggestions from players)  • "Social" plot - espionage, soft murder (help? Ideas?) This week's assignment; • Please take the time to sit down and think about what you would like to do with your character over the next few weeks/months. I'd like to start working with individual plotlines to weave together into bigger ones so it's not like I'm just throwing plot out there all the time without much personal meaning :) Activity Check; • The activity check is rapidly approaching (17 May). Please remember that Diagon does not count for this activity check, as it was used for most peoples' April check. Journal entries should be at least 10 sentences + commenting activity or at least 20 sentences without commenting. Roleplay should be a log or thread with at least 3 posts from the participant. • The only person I have on definite hiatus until 17 May is Zee. If you are going to be unable to update before 17 May, you MUST have a hiatus on file BEFORE the activity check. I need to know about Ams and Alison, if either of you can let me know what's going on. Order Plot ; • We need order plot. I need to know what the order is doing besides patrolling, bitching at each other, and crying over their families dying. If a group of order people get together and decide to do something, please email me so I can set up a plot of sorts to help you with. I am not going to silver-platter plot for the Order, because the chaos makes it more realistic to the lack of hierarchy going on in that organization. The DEs and Ministry all have 'bosses' to tell them what to do, which results in plot. The Order hasn't got that, and you need to take the first step forward if the Order is going to accomplish things.   Summary post is rapidly approaching!   I. Major plot events the next 2 weeks Muggle World • Thursday [5/15] Prices Commission abolished   Game • Sunday [5/11] Agnes O'Hare attacks obliviators with her fellow Sohoians and is sent to jail (again) for obstruction of officers of the law. • Monday [5/12] Ted Tonks starts his new job in the Werewolf division of Magical Creatures at the Ministry. He is placed on routine surveillance of werewolf activity. • Saturday [5/17] Rodolphus Lestrange assigns the best and brightest young death eaters to hatch a plot to put the minister under an imperius curse - [Evan, DE] - [Severus, DE] - [Alecto, DE] This should only be to young DEs who have proven themselves multiple times. Any recent muck ups should probably sit this one out • Sunday [5/18] Fenrir begins assembling his Dark Army; werewolves begin making camp near the English/Welsh and English/Scotch border --> Narrative? • Monday [5/19] Walden Macnair assigns several DEs to begin the cleaning out of safehouses. Much fun in dicking around with dark artefacts ensues. -- [Georgina, DE] -- [Regulus, DE] -- [Barty, DE] -- [open, DE] • Tuesday [5/20] Full moon; a rash of attacks breaks out near the encampments. Ted is the only person to notice (since its his job to do so). He notes it in the log but no further action is taken by the ministry. • Wednesday [5/21] In a desperate attempt to salvage whatever dignity it has left, the DMLE raid the safehouses named by Selwyn and investigated by Bill and Jo. They meet with about half success. Several upstanding members of the community are thrown into Azkaban. The Daily Prophet cannot decide whether to praise the ministry or to decry it for chopping off the fingers but missing the head. -- [Bill, auror] -- [Jo, auror] -- [open, auror] -- [open, auror] -- [Carlotta, Daily Prophet] -- [Dorcas, Quibbler;] -- [Greengrasses, owners of one of the safehouses;] • Thursday [5/22] The selected death eaters make their move on Trimble. The result is up in the air >:) • Saturday [5/24] ORDER MEETING; this will not be RPed out, but we'll have an informal 'rp' conversation to figure out what the order knows and is reporting/suggesting/bitching about. Several things that can be mentioned: --> Gideon will have noticed Georgina's presence more than once at the Lestrange Library (16 May, 23 May), then again at his manor on Saturdays (17 May, 24 May) during patrol --> Ted and Andromeda will have been officially invited into the order by Dumbledore on 23 May. This information will have been passed through Edgar and they will be informed on the 24th at this meeting. --> Ted mentions (in passing) that there's been some strange werewolf activity near the English border. No details, just a mention of it. LATER THIS MONTH Emmeline mentions werewolf stuff to Rooky --> Rooky points out to the DL that if his dark army is going to succeed that people probably shouldn't be noticing --> Severus Snape is ordered to kidnap and torture/maim/something Ted while things are subtletified   III.
