Week 8

Week 8 - Plot Post estimated timeframe 22 march - 29 march    Alrighty, time to get all you spring-breakers into plots (SPRING BREAK ! BLURRED LINES). The next week is going to involve several important plot lines for various groups of people, as well as some important changes for the ministry. I've signed people up for things based on who wanted plot and who was free on which day. If you don't want to be part of something you've been signed up for, feel free to comment.   Mod availability; • Em should be available all week; if she's not online she should be available via email. • Rachel's is unavailable until further notice. Major plot events this week Real Life 18 March - An explosion at the Golborne colliery in Golborne, Greater Manchester, kills three men. 22 March - Sir Richard Sykes, ambassador to the Netherlands, shot dead by Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) in The Hague. 28 March - James Callaghan's government loses a motion of confidence by one vote, forcing a general election. 30 March - Airey Neave, World War Two veteran and Conservative Northern Ireland spokesman, is killed by an Irish National Liberation Army bomb in the House of Commons parking lot. Herbert was a proponent of the anti-discrimination act. Ministry issues a department-wide memo detailing the dangers of answering late calls without identification. --> thesundowner , lupusmalus • Tuesday [3/25]; Rodolphus Lestrange abducts and tortures Jo Savage in retaliation for Saturday's skirmish (also doubles as a 'message' to the ministry about its hiring practices). --> aliasgrace , lupusmalus Anti-discrimination Act fails in the wizengamot thanks to the efforts of Narcissa Malfoy. • Wednesday [3/26]; Prevention of Terrorism Act part 2 is passed in the wizengamot, making the use of unforgivables acceptable for Aurors and Hitwizards in emergency defence situations. • Thursday [3/27]; Ministry Press release (PTA); Rodolphus Lestrange arrested in connection with Jo Savage's assault; Agnes O'Hare and Stubby Boardman present the debut episode of Resistance Radio with a scathing expose on the culprit behind the Savage attack. Though Rodolphus is still in for questioning, Bellatrix Lestrange reacts to the accusations, organizing an attack on Soho, London. --> saintagnes , stubby James Potter's birthday - let's make it exciting people, tomorrow is going to suck! • Friday or Saturday [3/28-3/29]; Media response to Ministry press release Death Eaters raid the communes of 'wizarding' Soho, killing 7 and attacking Stubby and Agnes. Arrival of the Order drives out death eaters before further damage can be done, but Stubby and Agnes decide to go into hiding for the protection of Soho. --> regulus , culling , desolationangel , rselwyn, truculentus, thewolfman --> stubby , saintagnes --> on_the_wall , jamesopotter , seirios , awinterstale, runbenjyrun   NOTE - this group fight will be done differently than previously. Fighters will be paired up to complete threads via google docs prior to the date. We could then start up some suspicion on Dorcas's end, possibly leading to an accusation of treachery or something else that will inject disruption into the Order.   III.
