Finally I get a free moment! This is Drew introducing Abel! He's a Chevalier 6 Year and is a reserve Quidditch Chaser. He's a typical Chev/jock hybrid, but he's still young enough that he isn't totally full of himself. His one major quirk is that he...talks to himself.
Spin? He's not really talking to himself. He's talking to his twin who died in the womb, named Cain (their parents thought it was SO CUTE). He never gives a name to the person he's talking to, but HE KNOWS. If someone comes upon him muttering, Abel will stop, of course, but that doesn't mean he won't do it again when he's alone. It's habit.
This is a piss poor intro, I know, but I'm tired. Abel won't be going to the ball, so if anyone wants to do a thread with him outside of it, I'd be available to break him in. All his info is in his journal, so by all means, say hi to me! And Abel, of course!

Hello again :) This is Ashley (Simon) with number two, Brys Emery.
Brys is a 7th year Waldgrave for starters, and Zacharie's older brother!
He isn't a whole lot like his baby brother. He takes his fashion advice, sure, but he's got no interest in it himself, and he's a lot more athletic and likes spending his time outdoors.
He's also got a temper, and isn't so good with the whole 'turn the other cheek' theory. He gets especially pissed off when people are messing with the ones he cares about, and no, he's not afraid of a good fist fight. On that note, once you've fucked up, you're pretty much screwed with him because he doesn't forgive easily, and he definitely doesn't forget.
But for all that, Brys is a big softie deep down. He worries about his brother’s quietness, and does his best to look out for him. He likes to cuddle, and he has a secret adoration of poetry, as well as a fondness for the fine arts. His talent lies mostly in sketching and charcoal pieces, and his favorite specimens tend to be people in natural settings.

Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it too!
This young man is Michael Sinclair, Waldgrave 7th year, although everyone knows him to be Jerome Aucoin. His parents, English followers of Lord Voldermort, left England at the end of the second War, fleeing to Freance before the Aurors could close in on them. Not content to remain in hiding, his parents found a suitable French family, and look over their lives. Jerome was always under the impression (being about 5 at the time) that the original Aucoin's were Obliterated, but his parents knew that was too much of a risk, and just killed them outright, and moved their new French family away to Paris.
Now they trade in Antiques, and are quite a popular up-and-coming family, while privately dealing in cursed dark objects. Jerome knows that, and has a vague interest in them himself, but he's far more interested in the theatre and the arts, and politics. Like his father, he thinks a Dark Lord will rise again, although he's not as foolish as his parents- Voldermort is dead and gone, and the floor is open for someone else to take his place.
He's very concerned with the way he appears to people, and his image, so although he prefers to bottom in relationships, he likes to be seen in public with a cute little thing on his arm, some little tart that will make everyone jealous but be completely obvious when Jerome sneaks off with the tartlet's attractive older brother. He's not always the most pleasant of people, in fact he quite likes putting people down, friends and none-friends alike, but it's just his way. He instinctively feels like he's better than everyone else, which is difficult to explain when you're pretending to be from a middle-class family. But anyone who acts, and acts well, or at least, tries, he is friendly with. Jerome also has an older brother, who he likes, although he finds it very hard to talk to him as Michael- he's having difficulty at the moment working out if he is Jerome, or if he's Michael. So that should be interesting too!

Hi everyone. It's Sondre with my last, so let's make it a good one!
Here's Professor Waiz, the not so well known Divination Professor. He's been around for the last eight years (err, when the current eighth years were ickle firsties) and is notorious for his lectures that don't make sense, piercing insight into human behavior, general eccentricity (on the first snow of the year, he strips down to his underwear and meditates in the thick of it for a good hour -- one of his many traditions), and, possibly most clearly, his tattoos. He's absolutely covered in them and they move. His most notable one is an eye in the middle of his forehead. It remains closed for most of the time, but opens up occasionally.
Otherwise, he doesn't like to talk about his past (he's seen some terrifying things) but in general is a nice guy, even if he is fairly intimidating. His door is always open if students ever have some pressing Divination question. He does not like to predict weather. He does, however, lend an ear whenever a student has boy issues, or something else like that.
Also, he's unconventional with his Divination teaching methods. He won't do tea leaves and crystal balls until the last minute. He likes to teach using nature. Entrails, too. Expect a lot of blood in this class.

So it's Kris and before this guy gets lost in the shuffle of this bunch of new guys, here is possibly my last character. XD Maybe?
This is Thibault Edeline. Friends tend to call him Tibs, and he has quite a few friends. He's one of those people who are always there if he's needed. He tends to be well-liked because he focuses all the conversation on whoever he's talking with. He's the type of person you can know for years, and then suddenly realize you don't know anything about him at all. He's good at steering attention away from himself without seeming like he's hiding something.
What he's hiding isn't exactly a well-kept secret. Those with especially gossipy parents or who pay attention to things like that might know already that Thibault's father is a werewolf. His mother left when the accident happened, when Tibs was a kid, and Thibault started shouldering the responsibility of taking care of his dad.
People might notice that he's kind of... intense, about his routines. He probably has to talk to the school counselor about it.
Full bio is in his journal, of course. I don't think he's dated very much, so friends or flirtations would be awesome. :D My AIM is omnimodous, and if you need me but I'm not logged on AIM, please just e-mail me. Due to a combination of shitty internet and some personal life stuff I haven't felt like logging on / haven't been able to stay connected to AIM long enough to bother.

I'm putting up the posts for Renoir's class early, so I don't forget, and because this class I'm letting people play out if they like. So it doesn't happen until Tuesday, if your characters want to complain in their journals. ;)
Class Six: Sexual Education
Most of this class is a question and answer session. The details will be in the post going up momentarily. I'll be posting a subthread with every eighth year, excepting Rue and Chance. If your sixth year (Or seventh year, though Renoir took questions from them much less often) wants to ask an eighth year anything, then post to that eighth year's subthread, and their player can answer.
It can be assumed, if I don't have Renoir chime in afterward, that there was much mocking. Corrections were usually offered with a good deal of sarcasm, but sometimes Renoir would let misinformation stand, if it was funny, or left it to the interns to correct.
Characters still in the Hospital Wing were excused.
And this will finish out Renoir's classes. :)

Okay, my satellite is fixed, and barring the weather sucking more, I should be around.
I'll be catching up on what I missed later today, but I know I owe some people threads and things, and if there's something in particular I need to answer feel free to point me at it.
Also, Nate was supposed to take the Aurors club on a field trip Saturday, but considering things have been nutty at the school lately, assume he cancelled it for another couple of weeks.
As for threads, I know I have some open ones to tag, and I'll do that tomorrow. But does anyone want/need a thread with my kids? My brain capacity is nil, so if we planned a thread or our kids are due for one or need to talk about anything, then just let me know and I'll be happy to play. I just forget! Roo, we already chatted, so I remember that one.
Offhand the only ones I can think of that I knew I wanted to do are:
Bert/Fabien - He wants to tell his brother some Family Stuffs.
Nathan/Drew - He wants to tell Drew about Gil. (Which might lead to Nate/Gil and him wanting boyfriend time)
There's totally stuff I'm forgetting though, not counting open threads and journals I need to reply to. And stuff I didn't think of. Soooo, let me know?
Also - nothing shows you how badly addicted to the game and the 'net in general more than not having net for a few days! And have a random shirtless icon.

Okay so, I figured I'll do the model meeting kind of like play/ballet auditions, but everyone gets in because Zach isn't turning anyone away. So. Basically this is just like for info and stuff.
Everyone was asked a few questions, asked to walk a little, and then got their headshots done. Volunteers got all made up/decked out for pictures to be used for advertising the show and stuff. And everyone had their measurements done.
If you guys could just do this for your models real quick it would be super. :D

BUT HALLO, ER'BODY. I am the Lee, here to add to the sexiness of all that comprises Benoit with my new baby, Alphonse Fournier. Friends call him Alfie; team calls him the Phonse. Even though he isn't remotely similar to the Fonz. Alfie would be the one bloke who sits in the back of the classrooms, takes excessively long bathroom breaks to grab a smoke, and ditches meals just to toss the pigskin in the commons. Basically, your average deadbeat who gets his kicks out of sarcastic jokes and sports (mostly rugby or quidditch). He's coarse, a bit rough around the edges, but yet he means well! He lives his life according to his own, happy in every respect, albeit his methods are rather unsophisticated and he can't help but instigate a few fights every now and then. Alfie DESPISES fakes and elite little bastards. So if your Char is constantly shitting out their money and status out their ass and mouth, you can bet he has an automatic bias against them. You can find more here, which is a better summary than I can conjure at 1:30 in the morning!

So yes I caved and brought in Senor McHottyPants, otherwise known as Emerson Fernandes. He is the StableMaster and groundskeeper at the school. You can address him as Monsieur or more casually as Em or Dez. He's half French, half Brazilian and you can read all about him in his journal.
He's been at the school for a few years now and comes from a family of equestrians and wizards. The horses are all treated as the finest around and cared for like they were his own. He takes into consideration all needs or requirements of the horses owner and keeps a secure journal/file on each of them.
Some may know, some may not, it's not like it's a state secret, but he earned money through the last part of school and a few years after, as a stripper. And not modest at all, but he was gooood. It was because of this that he's been disgraced and not disowned but well separated from his family. If he is in need of money, it wouldn't be too difficult for him to work a weekend or few and get some instant good money (far away from the school of course)
He can be a bit cocky, something he's grown into as he started developing as a teenager. But he can be genuinely nice and a good loyal friend too. Em likes flirting and sex and has a voracious appetite for such things. Illicit, out in the open, it's all good :)

Hey everyone, it's Sondre with number 2!
Here's Logan, a 7th year Quillory. He's a really nice guy, but has horrible fashion sense and likes eating weird foods he's had from all over the world. Socially, he can be a little off though because he's traveled so much in his lifetime but he has good intentions. He's pretty much a huge dork.
Born in Argentina, he's part Argentinian, French, and Catalan. He's lived his life abroad, making him probably more traveled than the average teenager. He speaks Spanish, Catalan, French, and English fluently but it's not so evident unless you ask him yourself. He's not the loudest person in the world but he's wayyy too laid back. The only aspiration he has in life is to play music. He loves his guitar and you'll most likely find him either writing music or playing it.
Anyway, he needs friends or, even better, band mates/jam session buds :)

FYI, our satellite service is out at my house. They're supposed to be fixing it today, but they're HIGHLY CAGEY about times, and if they'll definitely be out, and blahblahblah, do these people not understand that I need internet?
Dragged my lappy over to the neighbor's for a few minutes to glom on their wireless and send out work emails, but will probably not tag anything until they get it fixed. I really don't like my neighbors enough to stay here!

Crap. I forgot to do this again yesterday.
Tuesday was Renoir's fifth class.
Class Five: Emergency Procedures Two
Today, the class' usual meeting place was transfigured with the help of a couple of other staff members, into a very large, heated pool ear. Students were told to wear swim shorts and bring a towel.
Techniques for saving drowning victims, CPR, checking pulses, respiration, etc were all covered, along with some charms to clear clogged lungs, warming charms, and treatment for hypothermia.
Students took turns "drowning" and being rescued, and were randomly paired up. Interns were exempt. Feel free to assume you were paired up for CPR with whoever you want, but Renoir DOES have a wicked sense of humor, so if there's a particularly awkward pairing to be made, and the gossip would know about it, Renoir would know to put them together to make them suffer.
Interns, and the peanut gallery of Cain and Williams were helpfully pointing out when "CPR" turned into "Kissing", if it ever did. Anyone caught or suspected of making out instead of CPR was made to run laps.
Next Week: Sex Ed.

Also, posting order won't be a big issue, since we're not all on at the same time. so don't feel you have to wait for ____ if you've got something to say!

A) I was playing Sims 2 and made an Emile sim. The first thing he did was set himself on fire and die. I spent longer picking out his outfit than he lived. I found this incredibly amusing. XD

Hey everyone! I'm Sondre. Some of you may recognize me from when I was around say...back in September? Hee. Well, I couldn't stay away for too long and now I'm back! Anyhoo, I've decided to resurrect the Az character. For my previous sls, don't worry, I'm not expecting to grab them back.
Az's a transfer student; came in at the beginning of his 7th year. Laid low for the first semester, starting to come out of his shell now as he feels more comfortable in his surroundings. Quiet in class for the most part, because he knows how dumb he is. He's still a jock (first string Quidditch for Chevalier) and so would be closest to them. Pretty unpleasant to most people; especially the more skinny boys that he feels like he could knock around. Yeah, he's pretty unpleasant in general. And an idiot.
Sexually, he's found himself staring at guys lately. Possibly some more than others. Honestly, he just needs to get drunk. Right now, he considers himself fairly straight.
Anyway, he needs to establish his circle of bros. Many enemies since he's pretty vulgar. Az is a pretty polarizing figure :p
But yay I'm glad to be back in BLS <3 :) I'm up for any kind of plot anyone wants to throw up! My aim's [soggysodsod] if you prefer that method of contact.

Okay, so I was at work today, meeting with someone whose name happened to be Marco and doing paperwork. I was taking down information about his family and asked about a relative, "Is their last name Girard too?" I got a funny look from him and realized I'd written down the wrong last name. I didn't even realize until hours later why I'd had the last name Girard stuck in my head, then I couldn't stop laughing.
Yeah, this game is way too stuck in my head!
And the real reason for writing... Heads up, I'll be on a tiny bit of a hiatus. Had a family member pass away earlier in the week, so the funeral and family and such is consuming my free time. I'll probably be on the computer for not much more than a few minutes tomorrow, then probably not at all till Monday, and even then will be on a bit less than usual for the first part of the week. Assume my boys (Claude, Arnaud, Marcel, Georges, Didi, Rique, Garnier, and Wyatt) are all up to their usual stuff. TTYL!

Hey guys! It's Kris, and this is Zacharie Emery. Yes, I know we just got a Zacharie. If you want you can call mine Ginger Zach. Waldgrave, 6th year. :D
So Zachie tends to be quiet, but not in a shy way. He just doesn't like a lot of idle chit chat. He really likes sewing and plans to be a tailor. His secret hobby is designing clothes, mostly dresses and gowns. He's also a decent actor, even though he'd rather be backstage doing costumes. He hasn't really shown off a lot of his work yet, but probably will be trying to.
He's the type of guy who could probably gain a bad reputation, because he is very friendly when he's drinking and he really likes a party. He has a wild streak, despite seeming so quiet.
Okay so it's my birthday so you have to give me a looot of plot. XDDDD

It's that time again! Renoir is teaching today.
Class Four: Emergency Procedures One
Today's class will cover emergency procedures, basic medical care that you give someone until you can get them to the Healer/Hospital/Morgue. Renoir is careful to stress that these are not in PLACE of competent medical care, but just what to do until you can get them there.
Today our stalwart student actors will be playing injured. Interns A and B and various students will be asked to be "treated", and Renoir will describe various common injuries and have their fellow students come treat them. Often with accompanying illusions and or fake blood, pus, or various other things to simulate what the actual wound would look like. Students injured will be encouraged to play the part convincingly. Renoir has an "ouch stick" to poke them with if they fail to be convincingly injured. As always, students who annoy him frequently can be assumed to be made to play the injured, along with anyone else who catches his eye. The interns will mostly be demonstrating the techniques to treat, rather than playing injured.
Various emergency procedures such as wrapping sprained limbs, temporary splints for broken bones, and quick healing charms for small wounds, as well as how to apply pressure and stop bleeding temporarily for larger ones and signs to search for injuries such as concussions and other common injuries and ailments, including recognizing Anaphylactic shock, treating burns, and various other common injuries.
As an added bonus, the class is being "audited" by Professors Cain and Williams. Who have popcorn and are offering colorful commentary. Any other interested professors can feel free to join Statler and Waldorf.
As always, feel free to comment with anything your student did, or reactions, and to journal about the class or whatnot.

So, given that the pub crawl is coming up I'd love for one of the other Professors to take advantage of (or be jumped on) by a drunken Chayne. Since Chayne is rather repressed, getting drunk out with any number of attractive staff members is pretty much the only way he's going to get laid and I'd like to push him towards accepting that he's at least bi and also have some lovely regret when he wakes up the morning afterwards.

Because Jean's brain is stupid and migraine-ridden lately, I forgot to put this up earlier. But as announced in Nathan's journal, today was the first round of the dueling contests. Dueling club peoples were required to be in it. Since no one else signed up that I saw, those are all I accounted for, but here are the results. I wasn't going to take another Prof character, but then they went and made one with Cillian Murphy, my future husband. So. Yes.
Luc Follet. I warn you, this will probably be long, because I have a lot to say. Sorry!
First thing to note is that the Follest family are like Wizarding royalty. Think the French equivilent of the Malfoys. Ridiculously wealthy, purest of the Pureblood, Powerful. La-dee-da.
Luc's grandfather, Guillaume Follet, was French Minister for Magic for many many years, until 2004 when he retired (by choice). His father is a high ranking Ministry Official (rumoured to be next Minister for Magic) and on the Board of Governors. So basically, Luc has had everything he ever wanted, and assumes everything he wants will be granted.
He is a musical prodigey. He's played the piano since he was four, violin since he was six and a plethora of other things. He is world renouned for his piano playing and composing.
When he was 22 oe 23 he had a brief affair with Jean Vaillant. Mostly for amusement on his own part. Because Luc is really a cold hearted bastard.
To other people he seems entitled, haughty, but charming, keenly intelligent and suave. And a bit unsettling. He makes an effort to keep his public persona spotless. All his skeletons are very well hidden, through use of Obliviation, Polyjuice and glamour spells.
He'll be teaching Orchestral and Classical Music / Music History. As a teacher Luc will have very high expectations of his students. He is quite good at teaching music, despite his personality. And yes, he is also there as eyes and ears for the Board of Governors and the Ministry, to make sure everyone is staying in line.
Ummm. Let's see. Luc likes the piano, the violin, the opera, the theatre, red wine, killing Muggles, obliviating people after kinky sex, horseback riding, blood and long walks on the beach.
Oh, and about his username. It's a tip of the hat to Beethoven, whose Moonlight Sonata is actually called Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor "Quasi una fantasia - 'Quasi una fantasia' being Italian for 'almost a fantasy'. :D

I apologize for not getting this up last night. Real life is eating at me. But today was Renoir's third class. It went as follows:
Class Three: The Wages of Sin
Class Three: The Wages of Sin
Slides showing the effects of various types of drugs, alcohol, and horror stories related therein about what happened to one person who had one drop of alcohol/hit of pot/etc. and died some horrible, possibly made up, urban-legend-style death. Mixed in were actually true stories, and some of the more lurid ones WERE actually true. Just incredibly unusual.
Students are invited to share their own sordid tales. They will be mocked if they try to make up something that isn't funny. This will be followed be a series of After School Special style skits about peer pressure and drugs and alcohol that were handwritten by Renoir and are painfully, excruciatingly bad and full of intentional double innuendo. Whichever students annoy him most get the parts with the most lines. Students who have annoyed him repeatedly get the parts with COSTUMES, such as a talking joint, or a schoolgirl in pigtails.
Assume that those who are in frequently for fighting or other annoying injuries (Paul, Samson, etc.) are given large roles and costumes. Feel free to make up your own ridiculous skits that were shown, so long as they were on-theme. :)

Hi guys! I'm Ashley and this is Simon Granville!
Simon is Eriq's half brother and a 6th year in Chevalier. He's also a 2nd string chaser!
As far as his personality goes, he's a genuinely nice guy. He's the kind of person who sits with you and listens to your problems and will make that conscious effort to fix them, too. He can be a little shy at first- especially around good-looking people- but he's super friendly when he does get to know you, and he makes for a darn good friend.
He's not a pushover, though, and if he figures out that he's being used, he gets really pissed- so don't go there, and you'll get along just grand! :D

But going through them I noticed that I missed answering to some (since I never saw them) on time. With both of my guys cursed and unconcious atm, it doesn't make much sense to answer to the comments when they wake up, I guess. Sorry, guys! It's hard to keep track of all the comments when IJ eats the notifications.

Hey, more on this ancient runes curse! Anyone who went on the last cave trip (I'll put a list of students who signed up; you can also just retcon your character into it if you want to. Or say your character skipped if he did sign up.) will start to experience one or more of the following curse "symptoms":
1. The student is suddenly terrified of everything, and keeps screaming out of fright.
2. Everything smells like death.
3. The student loses his color vision, except for the color red.
4. The student has auditory hallucinations and keeps hearing whispering and hissing, which gets louder at night.
These can start anytime between Tuesday night through the rest of the week.

Phew! Now that I'm caught up on all my tags (that should be reason enough to not pick up a new character, eh?) I can make a proper intro post. Drew here! You all know my contact info.
This is Ivan Cortez. Never heard of him? That's cool, he was raised in Minneapolis with his pure-blood Mexican-American family. The only person that really knows him is Nathan Williams. He married Ivan's sister and sired a child, Andrew Williams.
But then she had to go and die, so Ivan's been carrying around a lot of grief for his sister's death since he was a teenager.
But instead of breaking the law or becoming a prostitute or something, he convinced his parents to let him travel. He hooked up with a professor while visiting a library in England and that put him on the path to becoming a cartographer.
He's fluent in Spanish and English (both native, growing up), Russian, German and French. And by fluent, he can speak, read and write it.
He's teaching Geography at the school, and I'm going with him fresh out of the Floo for this semester. He's never taught before, but the wonderful headmistress gave him the job, both because of his education and his relationship (strained though it may be) to Nathan.
He knows people are going to find him creepy at first contact. He likes to stare and make little notes. People may also think he's student, because he's short. This is perfectly fine with me, but he is a pure-blood wizard and will totally pwn a student (by accident)!
Being fresh, he has no back story with anyone (aside from Nathan & Andrew) so all that's pretty wide open. I imagine he makes a huge deal about Cinco de Mayo and bugs Chayne to help cook ethnic-specific foods for the regions his classes are studying. That OK with you, Roz?
But yes, hit me up with stuff. I have Thurs-Sunday off coming up so I'll definitely want to get some play in. Here's his bio if you want to learn more about his sister, his grieving process, or his lack of finances.

Didi's meek and keeps to himself, gives the appearance that he doesn't derive pleasure from anything whatsoever. He's involved in dance and drama and is better than what he shows in class and club. It's time again for Renoir's weekly torture session.
Class Two: Physical Health
All three years, with the exception of Intern A and Intern B, are mixed up, and then divided into groups of five, each group is numbered and then made to run laps while the rest of the groups watch, wait their turn, and listen to Renoir.
Renoir's lecture stresses the importance of physical exercise off of a broom, and hydration. The hydration comments are frequently accompanied by water summoning spells by Renoir or his Interns, who soak the runners at random. Any student who has annoyed Renoir recently ends up dripping, naturally.
The last runner in every group then demonstrates a simple exercise or stretch that can be safely used to keep fit without being stupid enough to be sent to Renoir for healing. Students with legitimate health issues that prevent running are excused.
After every group has gone, Renoir discusses the importance of sports and healthy competitive attitudes. He demonstrates this by putting all students in a circle, with seventh years and any student Renoir has reason to want to torture in the middle for a rousing game of dodgeball.
Interns are to treat any injuries. Workbooks to log physical exercise are passed out and all students told to fill them out before next week and keep to at least thirty minutes of activity a day. A book on nutrition is also passed around, but Renoir tells them he didn't bother to talk about it since everyone knows to eat their vegetables and never does.

All right, so I fail at the fourth dimension (time) and I lost track of what day it was. The Ancient Runes trip was supposed to be yesterday (Sunday) and I just completely blanked on it. And then my internet decided to vacation all night long last night, argh. Sorry. xD
There are two choices. We could push the entire thing back if any of you want to thread it OR we can just say it happened. The plot involved is going to be a cursed item that gets brought back to the school - Trevor knows enough not to take anything out of the caves without checking it, but some students aren't that clever.
So basically - what do you guys think, should we push back the day or just off-screen it? Because the good parts are going to come after, with the cursed object and all. And also, if anyone wants to volunteer their student or teacher for being the idiot (and I say that affectionately xD) who brings back the curse to the school... let me know. We'll have things to talk about. ;D

Hey, it's Kris and this is your Apparition instructor, Morel Rousseau!
Morel works at the Ministry, with the Department of Transportation, and comes in to teach sixth year Apparition. He's a Benoit alum, Quillory class of 1989. He gets along rather well with kids, because he acts like one half the time himself. Morel is the sort of eternal bachelor, Peter Pan syndrome type of guy. The only thing he really takes seriously is his job - one day he plans to hopefully run for French Minister of Magic.
Morel is a bit of a showman, and he likes doing card tricks and telling extravagant stories. Occasionally he rides his flying carpet to class in order to show off a little. Sometimes he stretches the truth a little, but mostly he's an honest guy. He has a fondness for transportation, so he's always excited to put up a new Floo stop or make sure the sixth years don't splinch themselves. He takes the class rather seriously because he doesn't want any of them to hurt himself.
Morel is sort of a ladies' man. He may have seen some students' mothers naked. What people don't know is that he's just as fond of men (if not a little fonder) as he is of women. He keeps that secret, because he's worried that it'd mean the end of his political career. He's already risen to second-in-charge in his department, so he has a lot at stake.
So yeah! If anyone wants plot or anything, let me know! :D Staff and sixth years, and also anyone who would want a letter of recommendation from a Ministry official, as Morel has been known to give out a few of those.

Hello!
This is Chayne Silvestre, thirty-four years old and your new cookery professor. He's Dan's older brother and the middle child of our dear Headmistress. He also has three little girls, the eldest of who is off at school while the others are too little being two and one. He's come back to the school after his wife died and he lost his job as head chef at a very prestigious restaurant.
Chayne is pretty closeted. He had an affair with the manager of the restaurant he worked at and blames the affair for his wife's death. He's trying to cope with being a good single parent and teaching which he's never done before.
At school he would have been in the year behind Maurice and Claude and during school he was adamant that he was the straightest straight boy ever. Even if he made cakes and things.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's DARCY!
I mean, this is Dr Archard (call him Archie) Vioget, Josiah's uncle and the school's resident counsellor. He's a psychologist by trade (and one with more experience working in muggle hospitals) and honestly isn't just working at the school to take care of his nephews. He has a real interest in the mental health of teens and adolescents, and more recently that of their carers, who he believes suffer from lack of adult interactions. So he's here gathering data for that hypothesis as well as to give Renoir a punching bag.
But enough about work! Although outside of his job, you're not likely to get very much out of him- he likes to keep his job and his personal life separate; after all, his job is all about other people and not at all about him. Although a wizard, and one schooled at Beauxbatons, he never really felt he was a wizard, because neither of his parents, or his sister, were magically inclined. Therefore on leaving school he went straight to muggle university and trained as a doctor, not a Healer.
He's quiet, for the most party, spending his time not at school at the local wizarding hospital, St. Alphis'. He boards in the school for the time being, because it seems that he might be called on any time of the day or night, and there indulges in his two real interests, the piano and football. He also tends to indulge in sweets, which is why he always has some in his room/office, talky-lounge place.
He's gay, and currently single, having broken up with his last boyfriend a few months back. He's not looking for romance because he sees himself as at Benoit to work and not to play, but someone might change his mind! He also has two cats, not only because they ease stress, but also for the company, and they are Nietzsche and Freud. Because he couldn't help it!
All his information is on his application and he also has a Drop Box for anyone, student or staff, that wants to see him.

This is Josiah, who is Dr. Vioget's nephew. He's grown up the child of two psychologists in a deeply progressive household. He's curious and tosses around new age and psychology buzzwords on a regular basis. He's incredibly earnest and wants to help everyone. Unfortunately, he doesn't know what questions NOT to ask, so he can make people very uncomfortable. He means well, but he doesn't know when to shut up.
He has vertigo, and sometimes uses a cane to help keep his balance, and is epileptic, though he hasn't had a seizure while he's at school yet. He's a sixth year Quillory, rooms with Lucien, and his older brother was an eighth year last year. He's somewhat gawky and unsure of himself since he shot up in a growth spurt over the summer, so between that and his vertigo, he tends to trip or bump into things a lot.
He might have a little experience with just kissing or a little messing around with someone, if anyone wants to have, but other than that probably not much. But friends, crushes, people who hate him, etc - all welcome!

So yes, this is indeed Erin, and reports of my demise have been exaggerated, though perhaps not by much. Since my disappearance from the game, I've had a rather extended and unpleasant bout of the flu (though not H1N1, or so I'm told), a busted computer that took forever to fix, bruised two of the metatarsals (whatever that means) in my left foot, been stranded in a house with no reliable internet over X-mas break and wrenched my back because of a fall on the ice. Not that that's any excuse for disappearing off the face of the Earth, but it goes a little ways to helping, I hope. That, plus I'm lazy when I'm sick and in pain. In any case, many countless apologies to everybody who still actually remembers me. I'm so, so sorry. RL can be a bitch.
That said, I've decided that I've only got time to handle one character right now (plus, I have it on good authority that the game is getting crowded), so I'm going to be dropping Jean-Pierre. I'm going to keep Romain and hopefully he and I will be able to catch up to the game. Again, I am so sorry to anyone who had stuff going on with JP.
Anyhow, greetings to all of the people who have joined the game since my disappearance (Romain is a very nice boy, if you're looking for friends!), I hope everybody's having a great 2010 so far, and, as always, you can find me (whether for plotting purposes or just to say hi, which is always pleasant and highly-appreciated) on AIM as AgentOOAwesome. | Renoir's Class |

Because the Health Classes are required for all students, EVERYONE has class with Renoir today. Renoir is not pleased, naturally. A group thread for every week would take forever, so I'm going to save it for just one class, and you'll see why when we get there.
So, week one with Renoir went as follows:
Class One: Anatomy
Interns A (Chance) & B (Rue) will stand as living models of internal medicine while Renoir uses an x-ray charm to show their internal organs. They are not nude - sweats/shorts or whatever they want and no shirt. Renoir then passes around slides of what various diseases will do to said organs, and the various ways in which they can kill you, along with a smiley face pain level scale of how much it hurts while you die.
Most things are that last one. Included is a lecture on the transference of germs, and just how much Ebola is on the average bathroom doorknob. Along with some nice ebola pictures to illustrate.
There were questions allowed, but if they were stupid, you were mocked. There is an actual dunce cap. If you are VERY stupid, you have to stand in the corner wearing it.
Feel free to comment with anything your student did in class or whatnot if you want everyone else to be aware of it!

HELLO, everyone! I'm Frankie, I'm new. Er...seventeen, uninteresting. Generally lame, but very nice. Uh. I bring you Noelle Granville.
So, Noelle here is a 6th year in Chevalier. He participates in Drama Club(on the DL), Horse Riding, Fencing/Archery, Dueling Club and Auror club. Well, Noelle is precocious, loud(bordering on obnoxious) charismatic, and a bit eccentric(his wand has a fwooper-feather core, and it's slowly making him bonkers). He loves a good times, is a social butterfly, and holds NOTHING back ever. Noelle demands your attention. He needs it. He's well-spoken, out-spoken, enthusiastic, and witty. He's full of like...boyish riff and has a general can-do-lets-all-party-and-seize-life-by-the-nuts attitude. He also loves danger. He'll accept any dare, fight ANYONE (even though he's puny and'll lose, prob) take on any challange, TAME ANY BEAST! Pretty much a good friend to have by your side, because most def he'll fight you battles for you. In his mind, he's a shining knight, and is prepared to rescue anyone in distress. Err...oh! Noelle is super bad with mistaking boundaries. He's the main guy who'll make you go like, "DUDE. We're not cool like that yet!" He's your best friend in like, the first few seconds of talking to him. YEP! Well, for more check out his app, yo. Oh, yeah, and he's Eriq's baby bro!
ANND what do you all think? He needs people to love/hate him. Mostly LOVE. And like, dangerous people to be friends with, because it delights him so!

And in continuing today's trend, I get to introduce IantoGilbert Reece. He is a former Ministry employee who was working to become an Obliviator. But his girlfriend was killed in a fire that destroyed their home and his life. He wandered around for a while before the job at BLS happened to be open and he accepted and has been here ever since.
He attended Hogwarts and graduated as part of Ravenclaw in 1999. He has great skill in potions and especially Arithmancy but is quite content in the library and many archives. Students need to get through him to get to anything in the old archives and especially the Restricted Section.
He's still rather gunshy but is getting better. Gil can be rather flirty and funloving especially by those who he has become very good friends with. And of course he'd dating Nathan Williams whichis quite the adventure in an of itself.
So.. friends, enemies etc etc I'm all for anything, but Gil insists that he is not making coffee for anyone :D

Hi!
I've had a bit of trouble with my car on the visit to my parents which has left me without transport. We're waiting to see if the guy in the garage can get it fixed *fingers crossed* but till then I am with parents who have spotted internet and want me to do things with them. I'm sorry for missing tags and will try to hop on everything when I get home but I'm afraid I don't know just when that will be.
[EDIT] - I am home! The nice car men fixed my car which need all new breaks which was not so good but they fixed it!

Just a note... students at the school might notice some rather interesting snow sculptures outside. Largely of Christmas elves, passed out drunk, dancing on a snow-table, and one mooning the school. And a passed out snow-reindeer.
The work has been signed (rather admirably, especially considering it's snow) 'Jean Vaillant'.
