It ran in the early afternoon, before the mid-afternoon drama performance. Participants shot three rounds in pairs. Winners advanced to the next round. Winners determined by random generator coin toss!

I'm captain of the failboat these past few days, SORRY FOLKS. I am devoting all my time tonight to get caught up and everything.
Just to sum up - Matthieu broke his other arm and but was out of the infirmary Sunday evening - Paris spent a lot of the weekend with Marcel (will SO get that thread up too) and Ame went away with his brothers. Part of the problem with being gone is that I never figured out WHO he was taking with him (*grumble*)

He's good-natured and fun-loving, bouncing with energy and can often be found humming one tune or the other. He's very physical, likes to run, work out, fly and of course DANCE! He's very touchy-feely without putting too much into it. He doesn't believe in forever, so he's never had a boyfriend, but he doesn't like one-time flings either. He won't jump into bed with just anyone, he does have to like the guy and a couple of beers before or a walk to get to know the other is just his thing.
So...where are his friends, ex-es, friends with benefits....?
Oh, and he hereby applies for the position as Chaser on the Quidditch team.

It's Kris! And this is Professor Garnier's weird little nephew, Renny.
Let's see. Renny is one of those people who finds comfort in facts and knowing everything he possibly can. Do not be surprised to see him go off about cryptozoology or, well, anything ever.
Fun facts: he's sort of antisocial, kind of a know-it-all, and has one of those explosive tempers you do not want to be on the wrong side of when he finally does freak out. Also he accidentally killed his little brother. So, that's not fun. He tends to keep things pent up. He doesn't get right vs. wrong at all, and is fairly morally grey.
Oh yeah and, seriously, best of luck to anyone who even attempts flirting with him, because he's not going to know what the hell the other guy's trying to do.
He frequently gets bullied into / paid to do other boys' homework, because he's kind of a genius, just a really strange one.

Ph33r me and my new character glory!
Amber here, and I come bearing yet another one. This time, my very first teacher!
This here is Danniell Silvestre. Youngest son of the Headmistress, and the Care of Magical Creatures professor. He is your Musical Arts teacher! As well as the head of Band and Choir. This, when he finds the spare time from regular performances in town and elsewhere.
Having made a name for himself as the bassist and lead singer of Les Hiboux, a band which became extremely popular when Dan was 19. He spent most of his time after finishing at Benoit touring, enjoying the sex, drugs, and rock n'roll lifestyle to the fullest. That was, until his drummer ODed and passed away. It settled him down a little bit, just making him more obsessed with music.
Being the son of two of Benoits instructors, he grew up around the Castle. Most teachers would know him as a previous student, or as a kid that grew up there. As a toddler he would wander around the castle, and listen at the music room door.
Since the music instructor at Benoit when he was a kid was good to him, took him under his wing and made him what he is today (in his opinion) he has his own absolute favourites. He takes musicians under his wing and wants them to succeed. Regularly, he will go out and do shows on weekends, or nights off, and quite often will take one of his favourite students along to show them how it works and give them a taste of it. He's been teaching since partway through last year, so is still fairly new to the teaching game.

The new place may never have internet, as I was informed yesterday, because the house is too old and there are no lines for broadband. If that's the case, the new place will become the old place very soon. Either way, there is a rocky road ahead for my internet access. The only play I may get is probably from work (whee.). I'll try to stay on top of everything best as I can, but, well. Back to packing.

Good morning.... so my computer decided it was tired of living Friday night and has gone belly up on me. I have managed to get it and my desktop all together to work but it took most of the weekend to do so. (lame)

Adding to the slew of intro posts - this is Ben Verne. Benjamin is a seventh year, and Lexi's older brother, and Gabby's younger. He's a Quidditch nut, and a sports nut in general, has something of an irrational ostrich-in-the-sand hero worship for his father, stutters when he's nervous, and overcompensates for his pretty Verne face by trying to be a boy's boy and being fairly deeply in the closet. He's a reserve beater for Waldgrave, and you can read the rest about him in his bio, if you so wish!

This is Vachel. His name does not rhyme with Rachel, but with satchel. Anyone mispronouncing this will not get a ride in his awesome muggle car. That's right, his awesome muggle car.
He is the nephew of Professor Wyatt Vignes, and when he was younger yes he did call him Professor Uncle. But now he's in 8th year and it's not as funny as it used to be. There are lots of things far more fun, like, well, THE BAND. And his car. And his guitar collection. And his Sgt. Peppers posters. And stuff. Like, there are over 75 secret passages and rooms in the school and as yet he has only been in just over fifty of them. That's a lot more to find and explore before he graduates in summer.
Vachel is a halfblood, his father a muggleborn wizard and his mother Wyatt's sister. He's grown up in both muggle and wizarding society and went to muggle primary school with his none-wizarding cousins. Where he got them into all sorts of trouble that often meant he was grounded by his elderly great-grandmother, a woman he refers to as The Dragon Lady. Luckily he's never as yet received a telling-off about his grades, but she won't be happy when she discovers everything he's getting up to in school, including driving himself to the school at the start of term, having only had his driving licence a month.
He's also a bass-guitarist, who would love to be involved in the band and he writes lyrics, although you'd never get him singing anything more than backing. He loves his guitars, and collects them- he has over fifteen, and has most mounted on the walls of his room. Whoever he ends up rooming with better not mind impromptu jam sessions!
So he needs friends, fellow more-muggle-than-wizards, band-mates, fellow musical geniuses and well, stuff! Yeah, you know you're up for it!

Hii! It's Amber again with another one! This here is Denis Ysbarre. He's a 6th year Chev, and he is certainly a piece of work, this one.
Like big brother Mael, he was raised by an extremely overbearing mother who is absolutely intent on making politicians of her boys. It made for an odd upbringing in which he was never really allowed to be a kid or to have fun, and has left him quite... warped. Where Mael got himself into some art forms as his outlet, Denis never quite managed that.
Involved in far, far too many classes and clubs, Denis is intent on doing everything and anything that could ever be beneficial to him in the future. He's extremely good at whatever he puts his mind to, excelling in academics and arts alike. Only problem is, especially in his musical and artistic endeavors - he hasn't got the emotion to it. Everything is technically proficient and flawless but there is never any soul to any of his work.
Problem with Denis, is he never really figured out how this whole 'emotion' thing really worked. Love is a foreign concept which he looks at critically and can't quite grasp. Caring and guilt and affection are just bizarre. He really, really doesn't get it. He fakes it well, but he doesn't. His method of deciding if he was straight, gay, or bi, was to find three young men, three young women, have sex with each, and decide based on numbers which he preferred. It was an extremely sterile thing for him, but he decided he preferred boys from the experiment.
Really, he has the makings to be a good little psychopath one day!
So, he needs friends/friends of some kind! Sex-partners! Love interests! People who want to save him! People that loathe him!

Meet Kit. Kristophe Herriot, but everyone just calls him Kit.
Kit is a Seventh Year Waldgrave. He is a perky, fun blonde boy. A party boy, really. When his parents divorced and he moved to Paris with his Mother (well, on summers and hols) he fell in love with the night life. With dancing, drinking, flirting, and sex. And so those are his main hobbies in life. He likes older boys, older men, and pretending to be a virgin at times. So he can bat his eyes and be all "Oh my! It's so big!" And he just likes sex in general.
A lot of people probably wonder why he's in Waldgrave, because of the way he acts. But he's also something of a math/Arithmancy genuis. Which is probably part of the reason he's in Waldgrave.
He needs friends, and friends with bennies, and exs and flings and all that jazz. Toss things my way!

Hello! Roz with her very, very most certainly last character ever who is Beau Xavier. He's Professor Xavier's nephew and loves dance and drama because he's a show off. He loves having people look at him and he wants to be the centre of your attention all the time. He flits from one thing to another, getting seriously passionate and then when it looks as if the interest is waning then he's on to something else.
He's got a temper on him and he's a bit of a slut. Beau sees no reason to wait for a first date to go to bed with someone, but he can't stand the idea of being settled. He'd be the sort to cheat because he just wants everyone to adore him.
So yes, this is Beau.

Hi guys! Kris again with another one. >_> I'd say I'm stopping soon but actually I'm not, so. I won't lie. xD
This is Professor Xavier! He teaches Dance and controls the Dancing Club, and he's a bit of a control freak. Up at four am every day, warm-ups before breakfast, all of that. His one vice in the world is how he smokes like a chimney.
He has a number of nieces and nephews (a few of whom may turn up here!) and hasn't really concentrated on love or making his own family or much else besides dancing since he was born.
He's very disciplined, doesn't like whiny dancing boys, and is probably one of the more grueling of the professors. He was a really big deal when he was at school at Benoit (far too many years ago, for his taste - he's only 35, but you'd think he was 70 from how he carries on) and went on to the Paris Ballet for a while before he got injured in a stage accident.
He's probably been teaching at the school for about four or five years now, so any plots with professors (or students!) would be very excellent.
(And I probably won't be around for a while tonight because I'm going to see that Twilight thing, but other than that I'm practically glued to this game, so. xD)

Hi everyone!
I know I've not been around nearly enough at the moment but hopefully in the next few weeks I'll be around in the mornings and evenings (GMT) to play with you all.
In that vein, I have two pleas. Both Simeon and Illya are characters I brought into the game recently-ish, and I'm really looking for plots for them both. Short-term, long term, anything would be wonderful!
Simeon, if you'll recall, is a nasty piece of work, who likes to try and spoil people's lives through gossip. He's the son of the wizarding equivalent of Rupert Murdock and he thinks that morally, he's much better than everyone else and that's just not true. Maybe someone who is also involved with the newspaper club, someone who has gossip he can spread, someone who has been injured by his allegations? Someone who would look very pretty on his arm?
Illya is half-Russian, denying his French blood and selling drugs, both wizarding and muggle, to the populous of the school. If anyone wants anything, please let him know. I'd love to do more with him, perhaps involving some sort of dependency line or a really screwed up dealer/client relationship there. Again, anything that pops into your head I'd love to hear about!

This is Casper Mallery, cousin and bff with Will Laurent. He's definitely acts more muggle than he does wizard and he has a grudge against quills. He's much much more quiet than his cousin, quite insecure and awkward, clumsy, can't dress himself ... to his credit though, he's a drummer in a somewhat popular muggle band.
He's somewhat quiet. He does have a fun side, I promise. Will knows how to bring it out in him, but there could be other people too. He's also got a ton of British pride, and likes to write. WITH PENS, DAMN IT.
I'd love any kind of plot. Anything. Pleeease. Also, Marco wants someone sweet that he can destroy. If anyone is sadistic enough to want this for one of their poor boys, let me know. xD

Now that the PB mistake is sorted out, this is Humbert Maigny. Who goes by Bert, unless you're his little brother, and is using a gratuitous shirtless icon just because. He has the worst name known to mankind and blames his parents for that. Amongst other things. His bio is in his journal. He is a Quillory 7th year.
He was, until his sixth year, a model student and very very straitlaced and golden-child perfect. He came back his sixth year though with his hair dyed random rainbow colors and switched his schedule, screwed up in classes, and started taking art, and sleeping around. He's not TOO bad so he's not a horrible example to his brother, but he's definitely a very different boy. He's pureblood, but not purist, basically a nice guy but with a stubborn and deeply determined streak, and likes most everyone until they give him a reason not to, then he'll hate them for forever. He adores his little brother and is very protective.
Friends, exes, friendlies with benefits, people he don't get along with, professors who are concerned about radical changes in behavior . . . I am up for anything!

I just realized yesterday that I was cooking up plot for the day before I'm going to be afk for quite a while! I'm going to be afk from Thurs the 19th till Tues the 24th and again on the 26th for Thanksgiving. I'll be busier than normal from now until the 26th, but should be fully back by the 27th.
I want to keep going the plot I had for Garnier and his art models, but will nbe pushing it back a couple of weeks b/c of my lack of availability. Also, for all you with new characters, Garnier had an open sign up for art models a week ago. If you think your character would have signed up for that, leave a note here, and I'll add them to the list. Thanks!

This is Professeur Doctor Raoul Bellemare. He teaches History of Magic, as you might already know, but teaching is not his passion. In fact, he doesn't even really like young people. But he certainly knows their value to the future. But I'll come to that in a moment.
He graduated Benoit himself in 1985, with a string of O's, and went straight to University, where he gained first his BA, MA and then PhD in History and related studies. He loves his topic, but it's a means to an end. A talented writer, he writes histories subtly suggesting the moral, political, economic and social decline of the French wizarding world was and still is caused by the integration of bad blood- i.e. muggle born and half-blood wizards gaining positions of importance previously held by pure-bloods. But that's all between the lines. His latest book, on Benoit, is a work which is going to uncover the declining morality of the school, it's students, and it's staff, over the years since integration between the classes first began, although no one else is aware of that yet. the young Claude Marceau will probably get a chapter all to himself, Veela-slut.
He's not a radical, in fact he can be rather nice if you aren't on the end of one of his biting sarcastic comments ("But it was a joke. You really have no sense of humour if you're upset by that") and if you a pureblood student who happens to be good at History of Magic, well, all the better for you! You'll still be exposed to subtle indoctrination, and if you're a stupid muggle-born you'll probably not enjoy his lessons too much. He'll make you read out the passages about incompetent drunkard muggle-born Ministers until you think you're just as worthless.
So... he needs favourite pupils, perhaps staff members who can't stand him, one or two he used to bully when he was a student? Let me know!

Hi everyone! I'm very happy to introduce my third boy, though he is not unknown around these parts. That's right, he's baaaaack *g* Here's Amédée Roux.
Jen was very kind to let me take him over, and while I did change a few things, he's pretty much the same bad boy twin of Arnaud's as he ever was. He's unrepenting and in it for the shock value no matter what IT is.
He's not afraid of most things and goes after what he wants, not matter if that belongs to someone else, be it things or people. If he likes someone he'll go after them regardless and god help anyone who messes with either of his brothers.
Sooooo..... he does need playmates, friends with benny's who he's close to, not to mention those who don't like him and some full fledged enemies as well. If there were plots or idea's in place before, please let me know and I'm be happy to work to keep them in place as much as possible. And of course if you want to plot with him, Paris and/or Matthieu, I'm ALL up for that too.

Hey, people. ^^ It's Kris and I have a second character. Yes I know I've only been here for like four days or something but I need to catch up with the rest of you? (You may already know my tiny blond, petitoiseau.)
This is Marco Girard. Marco is the result of a fiery and passionate and downright crazy union of a passionate French witch and an equally passionate Italian wizard. The two of them were frequently insane through most of Marco's life, so he doesn't have a real good handle on what a relationship is supposed to look like.
The thing about Marco is that he is a complete bitch of a person. He'll make people uncomfortable on purpose just to watch them squirm, and he thinks pain and humiliation are useful tools in romance. He's not always mean, but he's always pushing boundaries with people. Except for, occasionally, when he decides he'd like to behave, and then he's weirdly submissive a person.
I do need an ex-boyfriend of his. They were madly in love last year but had some kind of catastrophic fight (the kind with curses and hexes involved) and Marco barely said two words to him for like ten months. (that shiz is gone!)
And if you have a character who has ever needed someone to break his heart, I submit Marco Girard for your consideration. He's something of a jerk to people he messes around with and he's more difficult to get into a relationship with than, I don't know, the Loch Ness Monster or something.
Another important thing of note! I'm a 'ooh that's a good word I will make that my new sn yesss!' person, so my AIM name has changed. It's now omnimodous and I will try very hard not to change it again. This year.

For anyone who wants to do anything with it, hidden throughout the school are cookies of various kinds with "m's" or "d's". Each one has a clue that can lead to another hidden spot. Whoever collects the most cookies and brings them to Damien and/or Maslin wins. It should be noted that they have already probably forgotten about half the spots they hid them to start with. Feel free to make up clues and unlikely places you discovered cookies. They were very creative. We don't know how they would manage to get cookies into a Quillory seventh year's underwear drawer, but if you want to find one there, then they probably did.

Hello all,
This is darling Tallis's big brother Mallory Dautry. He's an 8th year Waldgrave and probably the most important thing for you to know about Malloy is that he's blind. He was blinded in a potions accident when he was in second year, all his own fault, and since then has become withdrawn and a bit timid. If you knew him before the accident then you'd probably remember a boy who loved pranks and getting into scrapes. If you only met him afterwards then you're most likely not close to him as Mallory shuts everyone new out.
He's stubborn and proud and doesn't like taking help from people and he has a rather black sense of humour. He projects an image of being very confident in himself but he doesn't like going anywhere new and he never goes to the village or takes part in extra-curricular activities.
Mallory knows he's gay but is sure most people would only consider dating him out of pity.
So, friends? People who he can get annoyed at because they patronise him? Potions Professors he despises because their office should have been locked and how was he supposed to know those two things would explode?

Hi! This is bri with Wyatt! Also known as Professeur Vignes, though that still sounds really weird to him. He's BLS's new substitute teacher, currently filling in for Valliant. Wyatt is a transfiguration pro, so he's a little enthusiastic (over-enthusiastic) as a teacher. He's done research on the subject and has pioneered some new techniques. He's also a animagus, can transform into a chestnut stallion. He's young, cheerful, a little clumsy and awkward around cute guys. He has a small house in the village and commutes (runs) to school daily. He does occasionally stay over at the school depending on how much work he has to do. He's brand new to the faculty, so feel free to haze! And I think that's all!

Hello! I'm new to the game, so I'd like to introduce myself! I'm Kris, I like video games and writing, reading books and gadgetry, and also crafts. Um but that's not why I'm here! Obviously I'm here because I have a character to play with you. xD
This is Émile. Émile is a 7th year Quillory, and (as you can probably tell) is very androgynous. He did not always look so pretty - the past few years were a real bother, as far as growth spurts and acne go. He finally grew into his face and cleared up the skin and bam, like some kind of ugly duckling he's suddenly pretty.
He's one of those people who never get messy and who requires at least an hour of grooming per day. He can be something of a snob, but that's just because he thinks some of the boys in this school are pigs.
Uh, I'm not making him sound very fun, but I promise he's much better. He's a real romantic at heart, and he's starting to come out of his shell. So, while he might not have many friends from his earlier years at school, he'll hopefully be making more friends this year.
I would love any kinds of plots or backstory! :) Thanks everyone, can't wait to start playing with you all!

Well, Roo was supposed to hit me if I ever thought about going beyond three characters, but she didn't do it hard enough, obviously. So here I am to introduce my fourth and last character, Aveneil Byron, Ash to his friends. Read all about him here.
Ash is the least important son of an impoverished Viscount. His fairy godmothers would be Scarlett O'Hara and Lorelei Lee. He's your pleasant 7th year Waldgrave prefect, and doesn't believe there is such a thing as free love -- everything in life comes with a price, and if you sell yourself too cheaply, that's your own fault. After graduation, Ash is planning to find a proper sugar daddy to keep him in style, until then, he's content to divide his attention among his peers, and if they are sufficiently affluent, he is quite willing to show them how talented he is with his tongue. You put in for Ash, he'll put out for you, though he'll choose carefully on whom to spend his efforts. The last thing he needs are his schoolboy indiscretions to get into the way of the bigger picture.
So, any suggestions for current flings, exes, friends, enemies, etc, throw them our way. Looking forward to playing with you. <3

This is Rue Trotter. Well, Rupert, but no one calls him that!
Rue is an Eighth Year Quillroy, and older brother of Julian and Enzo. Roommate of Mael.
Rue is very easy going. A boy-next-door type. Friendly, smart, generally all-around good guy. He wants to be a Healer (Jean and I are backdating it to say he's been the other intern since... Renoir took interns O.o ) and he gives killer massages.
He's not into violence and doesn't hold grudges... unless you do something HORRIBLE or do something to one of his brothers, in which case he'll gladly make an exception.
As his journal name suggests, he's a believer in free love. He does believe in true love, but until then... he thinks sex can be shared between friends, between strangers with a connection, etc etc. He's very physical and affectionate. He's also a bit of a hippy, into peace and love, into casual smoking and smoking of pot - he knows his limits (but would disapprove if his brothers did those things, go figure!).
Rue needs the following...
- Friends. He's the sort to have lots of friends, so have at it!
- Friends with benefits. For Rue, these actually have to be friends. People he gets on well with, hangs out with, has fun with, but who sleep together sometimes, and can go to each other if they have an itch than needs scratching.

A mini-break for me too. I'll be doing fam stuffs this weekend, and thought I'd have time to be around today, but really I won't. I will tag threads I have going when I can, and really want to keep them all going. Also, as for the pickup Quidditch game, assume it happened, if other participants want to log it and assume everyone was there for it, go for it! Same goes for Claude getting his band buddies together to rock out then go to a pub afterward, assume it happened, log it if you want. Have a good weekend everyone!

So, I thought I would just take a moment to pimp here for some plots for characters because currently I suck at doing things organically.
1. Quinn. Poor, confused Quinn. He's currently in a state because he's had to confess to the Headmistress about the fact that he was the won who spiked the punch and Iggy is so upset. Really wouldn't mind one of the older boys to take advantage of him. This could just be one time, comfort sex that leads to Quinn realising he does sort of like boys a bit or it could be something else.
2. Yves! Yves plots just all fell through and I love Yves so please help me play him more. Someone, maybe from dance club or class? Yves is easy going and pretty into artistic things so an opposites attract type of thing might work really well as well.
3. And I will just pimp again for Maslin's brother because really, awesome conflict plots with Perrin to be had.

Hey guys, as much as I hate to do it, I have to drop out of BLS. I loved this game, especially when I was really active, and I loved RPing with all of the people that I got to RP with (even the ones that I surprised and accidentally broke rules with...*sweatdrop*). It was an amazing experience, but I just don't have enough time to dedicate to this game, and I feel that it's unfair of me to have characters in a game that I can't be fully part of and give more than 100%. Anyways, I hope this game continues to prosper the way it has since I joined, and I hope you guys continue to have some amazing fun. Maybe I'll see y'all in another game (if I ever have time to join any other games), and I wish you the best of luck! Don't hesitate to message me if you see me online. This is Adrien Cain. Charms Professor. Australian. Fairly easy going, and is an odd mix of geek chic and bad boy. No one is quite sure why.
In fact, no one really knows Adrien at all. His grandfather is the head of one of Austalian's biggest Organized Crime families. Adrien was expected to follow along in the footsteps - and did for a bit. Until he decided he didn't like it. And ran. And since you don't leave the Family, they're after him. Cos he knows stuff. Oh, and Adrien isn't even his real name, but no one knows that either!
Anyway, he was jumping from country to country, heard about the position opening at Benoit, and slipped right into it. This was several years ago.
Since then, he's been teaching at Benoit, under the name Adrien Cain. And is relatively happy, although he has his paranoid moments. He in known for being very exciteable in lessons, and teaches a lot of cool things, as well as the useful/necessary ones. He's a good Prof, generally liked I would think, but doesn't take crap.
He also runs Charms club. And knows how to remove fingernails and tongues for interrogation purposes (hey, blame the Family).
Oh and he has a cat named Sugar, seen here because I like that picture.
I've rambled enough. Friends/students he gets on with/people in his classes/ people in charms club/etcetc?

This is Raphael Louis. Raph is a muggleborn sixth year Chevalier, and you can read more about him in his bio, of course. In brief he's resentful, frequently angry, struggles in pretty much all of his classes, is often in trouble, and is usually fairly out of place in school and everywhere else. He's pretty quick to throw punches and is scrappy like a terrier, still speaks French with a pretty heavy German accent.
He's roomed with Quinn, but given they're both sort of combative, I can switch him in with another room if you'd rather, Roz! (Though I think the only other one open is Lexi, in sixth year Chevs.)
He's bisexual and knows it, and swings between being wildly unsociable when it comes to sex, and being fairly loose about it. He likes pot and booze and has a very loose association with rules in general since he's reckless/impulsive - even though he's afraid of being kicked out of school eventually. He just doesn't think of that in time to stop him from being a dumbass, usually.
So umm. . . I think that's the basics? A few friends, some people that hate on him, exes, tutors who've tried to get him through his classes, teachers that tried to do the same - he's open for anything.
And naturally my other boys are all up for plotting, if anyone wants them for anything. They be Damien, Enzo, Renoir, and Mael!

I hope you're all sitting comfortably. You are? Then I'll begin.
This is Louis Francoeur - no relation to Mark, at least he doesn't think so - and he teaches Astronomy here at the school. He's one of the younger teachers, having just turned twenty-eight in the summer and the middle child of a large family of boys. He's always been a bit of a push over and he finds it very hard to stand up for himself so students know they're getting an easy ride in his class. He'll never chase them for missed homework and he believes any story told to him about reasons why people were absent from his classes or tests.
He'll also take on extra work from the staff because he pretty much craves some attention and thinks being good and helping people will get him that. Naturally, this means some unscrupulous teachers *cough*Claude*cough* get him to do all of their extra paperwork.
He's had one seriously relationship but that was a few years ago now and he's pretty shy when it comes to flirting. He'd never notice you were doing it unless you were seriously unsubtle and tried to kiss him.

Hello, everyone! This is Roz here with my last character, Eriq Granville. He's a 7th year Quillory and a bit DADA obsessed. His mothers (yes, two of them) both work in areas of Magical Law enforcement and he's grown up with very strong ideas about right and wrong. He's also pretty prejudiced against anyone with Veela, vampire or werewolf blood because they're all dangerous magical creatures and shouldn't be trusted. After he finishes school he hopes to go into the ministry and work in the Department for Regulation of Magical creatures so he can catch them all and make sure normal wizarding folk are kept safe.
He doesn't have the most liberal views despite coming from an unorthodox family background. He's of the 'catch 'em and put 'em down before they can do any damage' mind set and no doubt that's alienated him from a lot of his peers. He is, however, just trying to make the world a safer place and he does really care about people but he's not yet learned how to show that.
So, friends? People who can't stand him? People who might be kind of scared of him? Vampires for him to slay?
