Didn't get a chance for a proper introduction before, but I've finally caught up on... most things, I guess. It's not all completely insane anymore.

I'm Marcus Delgado. They tell me I'm the male counterpart to Melissa McCall, which makes a pretty strange amount of sense even without seeing the proof, so. Most of the kids back home call me Mr. D or Nurse D or yo, hot dad- whatever that mean, but Marcus is fine too.

This may be the first New Years Eve I haven't worked in... a decade? I always feel a little better being in the ER rather than at home, so for my sanity, stay out of trouble? I'm not bothering to direct this at anyone in particular, you know who you are.

Also didn't realize the full moon is rapidly approaching. The temporary housing doesn't offer a whole lot of room, but what space I have is available to share.

I think I'm getting sick. Do were-coyotes get sick? It feels like my entire body is trying to fall into cracks in the earth. When I talked to the check-out lady at the grocery store about it, she said it sounded like I had a broken heart. I don't know much about broken hearts but I'd think it'd be biologically impossible. They made me go to see a therapist at school when I first started attending and she said that my relationship with Stiles seemed "co-dependent" but she's just a therapist; what does she know about relationships?

I take back everything I said to Stiles about country music sounding harsh and grating and annoying to my ears. It is the music of pain, and only it can reflect how everything is terrible and black and lonely and how it feels like my heart is falling out of my butt.

I finally found an after school job, and while working at the Kama‘aina Pet Hospital isn't as cool as working on a pirate ship or on a special supernatural task force it'll help keep me out of trouble and help Mom pay for groceries. I wasn't really aware of how much one werewolf ate until I saw what the grocery bill for multiple of them look like.

Is there someone here who has been here awhile who can help me make a map of this part of the island? Only if you don't mind, of course. I can get one of the island itself from a tourist shop, but I want one with more specific places on it. Where people are living and where certain buildings are, that sort of thing.
