Hi.

I don't think I'll ever get used to seeing decorated palm trees for Christmas, but it's nice not having to wear all of those layers in winter.

Speaking of Christmas, I need some Christmas lists, kids. I'm not going to pretend that I'm that mom that has all the shopping done by now because everyone knows that's never the case. I have Praxis testing next week in order to become certified to teach again, but even with that it still leaves plenty of time to play Santa's elf.

I'm looking for statues, all shapes and sizes. Cats, garden gnomes, etc. The weirder the better. Anyone have anything to offer or any ideas on where to look? Or, better yet, anyone want to go thrifting with me?

I've already started making my grocery list for the big day, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to need an entire flock of turkeys and half of Idaho's potatoes for Thanksgiving dinner this year. I'm not complaining by any means, but I'd be eternally grateful if someone can find the oven space and a table that won't collapse under all of this food.
