Of all the ways I thought I might see you again over the years, this wasn't one of them. There are two things of which I can assure you both: that I care about you and that I am glad you have new lives here. I hope you can respect my choices, and we can find a way to be on good terms. If you need me to maintain some distance, I will try to respect your wishes, but I admit I'd like to know these versions of my family, and my children may wish to know you.

	Let me start off with saying that I'm truly happy for you and I don't plan to interfere with anything or anyone. I am happy here with my family and I have no intention of putting that in danger after all of the work I put into my recovering from my past misdeeds.
