"It is!" she protested, serious for all of two seconds before laughing. "These poor parents are expecting fun and love and instead they get terribly sugared up children that can't stop running around!" With a cocky hair toss, Elsa leaned in closer, whispering to the little fairy. "She also thinks your staff looks better when I'm holding it. God, she's getting to be smarter and smarter every day!"
She picked up Baby Tooth, cupping her between her hands as she showed the small fairy the designs on the table. "I didn't do it on purpose, bitter baby," she joked. "She chose me." The thought of that call was enough to bring a smile to her face, shaking her head. "They'd think that you were a medical miracle, love. May even think you came out of a cryogenic freeze a la Walt."
Elsa inhaled deeply, the familiar scent of fresh mountain air and cool mint invading her senses. It smelled like home. Jack was home and the thought that one day things would be different upset her again. Her shoulders tensed as she rested her forehead on his shoulder, breathing deeply to regain control before her hands began to tingle with the sensation of ice. "Course I am," she replied. "I didn't do too much, really. Cleaned, went to town, got some books from the library then watched the children in the city. Nothing as exciting as you, winter boy."
