Let's see if I've got all this: it's not 1993, I'm somebody's idea of fiction, there's a television show in which I'm both older and the bad guy (guy is the relevant shock here), pretty much all my family's either dead or "dead" until they're useful to the plot, and I'll turn into a puppet if I "try anything".

Got here yesterday. Spent the night catching up. Life's just full of surprises, isn't it?
