Bizarre OOC

Today starts the swap over from September to October. All of In Game October is open to threading for the entirety of Real Life June, please be sure to date your subjects as October XX, 2013 and tag them appropriately with [Open], [Player Name], and so forth.

If you're interested enough, feel free to comment below with a summary of your character's involvement in the game for the month of September. Not mandatory, but it does help returning players from hiatus get an idea of what progress has gone on.

You are welcome to #backdate posts with the appropriate date in the subject if you haven't been able to finish scenes in September or past months. We're not sticklers about it. Just have fun.

This weekend I will be going through the list of players who have joined and never posted to the community with a thread. If you recently joined in the last week, have no fear, you are not part of this culling process.

However, those who have yet to make a thread or respond to the threads made to them since joining over a month ago, you have until this Sunday to post in the community or you will be removed. Should you find yourself free again with an interest in rejoining the community, you will be asked to reapply.

So, I know there’s a looooot of new people here since the last time swap-over, so I want to make sure everyone knows what is gonna happen tomorrow and give people a place to ask questions about it!

Basically, the comm works on double RL time. So on the 1st and 15th of every month, we open a new month to in-game play. Tomorrow, it will be June in-game and you can post threads for any day in June!

When we do the time switch-over, we invite people to comment with what their chars have been up to for the previous month (in this case, May).

I'm a pretty "bouncy" mod, when I see a layout that looks great I try it out. That said, it doesn't mean it has to stay, so let me know if there are any problems with the bizarre_city layout because I'm completely flexible.

Feel free to suggest some colors too if it's too dark.

So there are a few threads open in the community if anyone wants to grab them, feel free!

This will take you to the Bizarre City open tag list, remember that on the left side bar shows tags of all the posts. You don't have to keep up with tagging your threads if you don't want to, I'm fairly quick about getting them.

Also, I'd like to remind everyone we've doubled the game time.

One week IRL is two weeks in the game. That means February is almost over in game! IRL February 1st will become March 1st and IRL February 15th will become April 1st. If anyone wants it, I'll post announcements.

We have no problems with back dated entries, you can either put it in the subject or use the #backdate tag in your threads. If I see a date happening in the 'past', I'll #backdate it myself. Have no fear!

Alright, you slackers. Melinda's player has been very sweet and is making us some Fae guidelines. I'm going to commit to getting some Vampire ones up by the end of the week. Remember, you can play whatever race you like, but we don't want people playing Werewolves 15 different ways.

I don't want my vampire to burn in the sun while yours sparkles. Right? (We're going with burning, by the way. Sorry, fangirls.)

Thank you to everyone that's doing their best to keep active. That's the hardest part of getting a community rolling.

I know I'm having a ton of fun. Get some more threads up there for me, guys :)
