He shouldn't be there. He had other things he could be doing. Important things. Yet there he was peeking at the front of Marsh's trailer under the guise of an everyday raccoon dog. There wasn't any activity he could see inside but the truck sitting outside made him conclude Marsh was home. Rudy would need to be let out at some point and maybe, just maybe, he'd catch a glimpse of the man he was missing the company of.
He should just forget about him. He'd called him a delusion. Never contacted him. Not even for Christmas. But he couldn't and it frustrated him. Why were others that rejected him so easy to brush off yet not him? It was a conundrum he found utterly annoying.
